My favorite part was when the AR jammed and he tossed it across the range.

if he had just read the manual.
it was in section c page 15!
it tells all about how to clean it!
and soldiers carry lots of stuff.
so a few extra cleaning tools and a rack to carefully
hold the rifle while you clean it...
and sometimes, you know, the ammo isn't just right.
he might have had a 55 instead of a 62.
well that's in section d page 8.

there was something about that video that let me know
that feller wasn't entirely unbiased.

The AR has several advantages over the AK, but you have to be a lot more skilled and knowledgeable than most people in order for those advantages to matter any.

um.....leave it to hollywood ..guns that never run outta ammo,,or need to be aimed right and an ak that jammed lol gun myths for sure. lol

I believe you've missed the intent of this thread as it was a place where we could come in and poke at each other over weapon ownership. It's a farce really more than anything and we all have come to the understanding certain uneducated heathens will continue to carry the AK and the more sophisticated and worldly types will continue to carry the AR.

But all told, this thread was more of a fun place to get together and poke at each other.
