AR's are better than any commmie AK

To revive a dead thread (cuz' it needs to be revived), I offer my AK-74 Tantal as a combat weapon that is NOW, after some Magpul upgrades, almost able to woo me away from my AR's as a main go-to gun (but it still needs more testing, even if it is an AK)...

Now a nice cheek weld without losing my folding compactness (and still fits in my "grey man" tennis racket bag), and a hand guard that I can mount a weapon light easily, thanks to Magpul...

So we have had and used the professional training systems gas operated airsofts from KWA in the AK74 Krinkov style. We have used two of those EXTENSIVELY over the last 3-4 years without a single problem.

Got one of their "better" M4 airsofts. It went through about 8 mags maybe total and then started doing this-





SPLITTING BB's in half!! There was about 4 lodged in the chamber area that I had to rod out and then take a dental pic to get the fragments out of the chamber area. After all that inserted a freshly gassed mag and it did it again. And again after that.

Meanwhile the airsoft AKs are still running fine with never an issue like this.

What is that saying "art mimics real life" or some crap like that? Seems somewhat applicable here.

mmm... sounds to like someone let a itty bitty piece of dirt get in his rifle!!

folks got to remember that these are finely tuned, pieces of equipment and should only be used in clean hvac controlled environments and cleaned timely.
