Let's examine ebola...
Is the virus "airborne?" NO... So having a filter that filters "AIRBORNE" micro-organisms will absolutely work for ebola, but the filter ~~exceeds~~ the needs of the threat.
Is ebola a LIQUID? NO... But it does use liquid to travel... However, technically, a filter that filters liquid hazardous particles is IDEAL, but any ebola-tainted droplets will also equally get trapped and contained in a standard military-grade NBC filter that contains just filter media and activated carbon.
We should not equally give out incorrect info that OVER-SPECS the filters needed to protect from ebola... Is it better to have a filter that is P-100 and capable filtering micro-organisms and liquid chemical droplets? SURE, 100% TRUE! But I think any ~modern~ NATO military gas mask filter sold on eBay or approvedgasmasksofdurkistan.com would work equally as well and be FAR, FAR CHEAPER...
So I say, buy the best, if you can afford it, and find it, but at least buy SOMETHING that will work, even if it is just an Czech copy of the M17 USGI masks with cheek filters, once sold by JRH for dirt cheap...
