I know all these aren't powders, but...

    Rit whitener
    Some laundry detergents
I believe I've read olive oil, but don't hold me to that
Something in whiteners, so maybe tooth whitening strips

Protecting the sheep from the wolves that want them, their family, their money and full control of our Country!

Guns and gear are cool, but bandages stop the bleeding!

ATTENTION: No trees or animals were harmed in any way in the sending of this message, but a large number of electrons were really ticked off!

Actually found just the thing. It's nearly invisible until you hit it with a uv light. Used for just this type of application. Little pricey but no too bad

Just scored a box of 25 Tyvek suits with attached booties and hood for $55 shipped on eBay... $2.20 for each one is a steal! Some good prep deals are out there if you know what you need and look around...

Harder to find deals on n95 masks worth a darn... Lots of inferior Chinese masks.

My employer sent out an email about Ebola early this week, detailing how this medical facility would handle a suspicious or suspected case. Basically the front-line crew (nurses, NP's, front desk staff, and doctors) takes the biggest risk as they will see the patient BEFORE they know what they are dealing with. I am sure the Doc's and Admins know more about the expected risks and lockdown procedures that are NOT being distributed to facility staff, just as the CDC is keeping the Ebola testing locations secret. But I do not see any changes in procedures yet, so it is just a heads up to everyone at the workplace.

when I heard that American died of ebola in Liberia? or somewhere and now 6 of his caregivers have ebola...
it sort of got my attention..
I can see one of them sticking themselves with a needle and one or two of them letting blood/fluids get on their skin.
but hard to believe 6 of them were willing to get body fluids on themselves sure makes me curious if this bug can fly through the air...

I sent out an email to a group of white collar college grad types ages 50 and up...
employment - military, government, church, manufacturing/sales, education, inviting a
              compiling of ebola info..
some didn't bother to reply.. indicating boredom or no concern.
              some examples of responses:
architect in Hawaii responded that they were about to make desperate run for supplies
because of hurricane about to hit...
church worker in u.s. sent a post by an emory (hospital in Atlanta with 2 ebola patients) head nurse saying
nothing to fear. there is no threat to the population.
manufacturing sales rep in Australia responded saying most of this is rumor and not fact. no concern.

              bottom line results so far...
there is general complacency. I hope that they are right.
BUT, if the bug "gets out" and especially if airborne,
              ...
              zombie city...

Or it'll be kept hush...ignored by the public ...until it just erupts and folks just start dropping...

I think we have more to fear from false flags and the mid east issues../border issues ..compounding to influence election result /voters.
Hey Petunia...you dropped your man pad!

                  Greetings All,

It has been awhile since I have been here as I have been swamped with trying to get us moved onto our new 10 acre homestead. with that said, here is an interesting article about Sawyer's final moments, it tells how so many were infected by this guy: http://frontpageafricaonline.com/ind...e-rage-strange

Also, another good source for the latest news on Ebola can be found on PFI, they keep track on all potential pandemic diseases, particularly flu, MERS, etc. http://www.singtomeohmuse.com/viewforum.php?f=1

                  Stay safe,

                  SC
                  "Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

Interesting question. If it was me you pi$$ed on it would be suicide by medical personnel. I would be found by the media not guilty before I die, as I was saving the lives of others. Just sayin' :)

Ebola-Verdacht in der Hansestadt! Ein Mann (28) aus Freetown (Sierra Leone) soll das tödliche Virus nach Deutschland gebracht haben.

I'm guessing that someone on here reads german and can give us a brief review...

Here's a news article a little closer to the outbreak-

Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

I think it would be worth the time to discuss what gas mask filters will and wont do and how to KNOW that the filter you have WILL do what you think it will. As we all know the internet is flooded with bad and downright dangerously wrong info. With the current Ebola outbreak I think we should touch on the idea that a gas mask absolutely will protect you from ebola. NOT TRUE!!! It depends on the filter you are using. Filters are designed to work with certain threats and substances and not all filters will protect you against a virus. In the photo below are two filters both for the same mask. As per the manufacturers data sheet The filter on the left will protect against:
Organic, inorganic and acid gases and vapours
as well as ammonia and organic ammonia
                              derivatives, solid and liquid hazardous
particles, e.g. radioactive and toxic substances
                              and micro-organisms.

While the filter on the right will only protect you from Acid gases and vapours e.g. sulphur dioxide.
Know what your filter is capable of, look for the NIOSH rating. If it says its p100 rated then you should be safe with viruses but dont assume because you have a mask and a filter you bought from discountgasmasksofdirkistan.com that you are protected.

                                shopping for masks and overalls.
                                not much in our area...
big town in area has a "safety max"
                                has n95 20 masks for 17.95
                                some overalls ? I don't know if hoods are included ? 25 for 125.

                                no virkon located nearby yet.
