Some updated info from a higher learning institution student care facility: You're on your own! Seriously... For awhile at least. If suspected of Ebola, they are to be kept at a distance, area cleared, then guided to negative-pressure room and told to stay there until the Hospital Ebola "SWAT Team" arrives. No caregiver is to enter, help them, or do anything with them. The room has been stripped down to bare essentials (thermometer, etc...) and a portable toilet, vomit cans, and food & water, as well as a few other toiletries, that is about it. They are on their own. Nurses and Doctors will communicate with patient through closed window and with signs. Hospital will arrange transport to hospital, as our hospital has become a designated "Ebola" treatment center...
They strip down the room, as in the words of one in the know, "It would have to be trashed..." afterwards.
