I have been working on setting up a molle vest lately, but did not have a molle pistol holster. I'm a lot more familiar with and have a lot more alice stuff, but am trying to see if I like the molle. I do have several old duty belt sets, one which has an uncle mike hoslter. I also have a few alice to molle adapters, that I got at the last GA camp out. I removed the belt slide from the holster, and made some matching holes in the molle adapter, and screwed the holster back together, with the molle adapter in between. It seems to work good. I will try to add some photos later.
This is another holster taken apart, with the adapter.
This is attached to the vest. On the alice it just goes over the belt.
Had a Sunday morning fire starting expo with my two sons.
The 2 year old learned the term hot. The 5 year old got his first trial runs with the mag stick. He was able to get spark but couldn't get flame. He was a little timid because he didn't want to cut or burn himself.
I pulled out the "bug out fanny pack" to go through and restock and wanted to test the fire stuff.
I have one of those $2 multi tools that I found and added to the pack. The saw on it is very dull but it works wonders with the mag stick. Better than any other edge I own
Tried the magnifying glass method but couldn't get flame.
If all else fails, the bic will make it happen
Also, added some birthday candles to the fire tin. You get one lit and you can light different spots of the tinder bundle and keep an even flame going
You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?
