2 assosciates both came for Christmas for longer than usual.
young folks. work all day. not interested in breaks like us "older folk"
pruned the pear trees that the partridge was in.
cleaned the gutters,
rearranged the pantry and the storage closet/room.
built a grape arbor.
and on and on- this ole man's tired and sore! but happy. thank you Lord!
oh yeah.
2 new ducks! - trying to get them used to us and the location (so they don't fly off!)

I bought a Deadwood stove and some smaller quart and half gallon mylar bags. The stove looks heavy duty and seems to be very well built. I'll do a review in the next week or so.

Bought my son a new scope to replace the old foggy one on his 22lr lever Western Auto Revelation.

Took him to the range the other day and sighted it in. He scored an expert using the Army qualification targets at 25 meters from a standing position.

STORAGE SPACE!!! The DIL cleaned out the pantry (while I was recuperating from bronchitis) and managed to give me half a large pantry for the storing of buckets and #10 cans of dehydrated food. Have needed the space desperately and been too busy to do it. Now have room for new purchases with Christmas money. :) Thanks be to the Lord for the greatest DIL!
