what did you buy or get for Christmas that's preparedness oriented
My wife and I just bought a bunch of 12 Gauge "bird shot" shells for continued practice and storing.
By the way Bass Pro is running a sell for buy one box (100 count) and get the next for half price. I didn't see a limit attached so we bought several boxes.

You will eat your Brocoli and like it, or I'll have to TAX you.
No more Big Gulps for you either!
Cheater cheater pumpkin eaters!!!! It's still a day plus till Christmas! Your not supposed to know yet! LOL
My wife got me a 45 lb. kettlebell. It came in a almost destroyed Flat Rate Priority mail box. I've done some "creative" wrapping this year (I'm about the laziest wrapper on the planet) and so in response to some of my "creative" wrapping my wife simply put a bow on the box the kettlebell came in! I was so impressed I made a tied bow from tree tape (marking/surveyors tape) and tied it around one of the boxes for her ;)
I used to be able to get away with bringing her presents to a lady relative close by and having her wrap them for me. Then I got the old "you really ought to put more effort into this" guilt trip so I had to start wrapping myself.
Their is a stack of Priority mail boxes with presents in them. I finally wrapped all of them. On one I took almost a whole bag of stick on bows and put them one next to another all over the top of the box, LOL but it actually came out real pretty :) I should have realized it would have been less effort to simply wrap the box...
Got myself a new gun. Got my oldest child a new pistol (Sig 9MM subcompact). Got my middle child a new shortwave radio. Got my youngest child a New BOB for his truck. Got my wife some new cookware she wanted Got my son in law a new 22. GB
a present we are getting isn't costing me money.
but some relatives will be here, we haven't had them all here at the same time
in a long time.
the best present i'll get and come to think of it -- it is preparedness oriented.
That's awesome Fido. If I didn't like Shepherds so much, my next pick would be a Lab. I've had some Lab "mixes" way back in the day and they are very smart dogs. Only one of my Shepherds is smart, the rest are just unfriendly.
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"
Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"
I will be getting some merino wool long underwear and some emergency flashlights that plug into the wall and work as night lights as well. When the power goes out, the lights come on and you can grab them and use them as flashlights. Hubby is getting some fleece lined zip hoodies he wanted and slippers. We do not usually make a big deal out presents to each other as it is mostly for the kids.

Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
Bought the wife a nice little Taurus TCO .380 with 50 rounds of hallowpoint, and 100 rounds of FMJ. Here family knows we are into prepping so I know we will be getting some great stuff from them. The BOL already gave us each a set of electronuc ear protection. A good number of the presents are sleeping bags, tents, etc since the grandson is a cub scout and we are raising them.
DW asked what I wanted, I suggested some jeans, shoes, ammunition, propane tank filled.
Also I think we have the best present this year and many more years to come. Our son was involved in an automobile accident Tuesday. He is very lucky to be alive. He was driving with 2 children when a SUV T-boned him at 70mph. The children walked away with no injuries, the RMTs were sure he was a fatality. He was released from the hospital yesterday evening. Boken ribs, broken sternum, facial lacerations, and head trauma. He is still in a lot of pain, but is here at home.
I really don't believe in God, I think maybe something is trying to nudge me in that direction.
