Step 1 - beat rust off with a shovel
Step 2 - kick charging handle to rear to break loose rust
Step 3 - insert only military surplus magazines since mag well tolerances have created a monster when it comes to aftermarket magazines. You cannot use anything but metal surplus magazines DON'T BUY A WASR AND THIS WON'T BE AN ISSUE or TAPCO crap magazines
    Step 4 - shoot
    Step 5 - shoot again
Step 6 - curse and engage once again
Step 7 - continue shooting through magazine until target is hit
Step 8 - change magazines and repeat Step 6 as necessary until target stops doing whatever lead you to shoot in the first place
Step 9 - Brag to friends about how inexpensive your rifle is to own and operate, drink a PBR in congratulations to all the money you saved over those finicky AR15s.
Step 10 - Drool over pictures in gun rags of AR15s with tacticool bling
Step 11 - Buy an AR15 in secret and don't tell friends
Step 12 - Finally come out of the closet as an AR lover and relegate AK to back of safe

Be willing to bet someone on here is at step #10...
Admitting to the ones in bold.

At least when you kick the bolt on the AK it will do something.

On the other hand, there is always the 16 inch AR varients which are completely legal and might I suggest a mid length action. Really nice and doesn't give as much wear and tear on the actions. Don't worry young man, we can guide you through the process

BTW, his bolt is locked back.
