Was that a song or a Haiku? I'll try to add to it via (bad) Haiku-

    Dumb butt "dude" shoots again
gun sounded strange, something just ain't right
    Templar walks over and laughts

    Picks up dumb butt's casing
    .223 casing fired thru a 7.62x39 AK
    All the stories are true

    "dudes" gun doesn't stop running
Not even a hiccup to be heard
    Everyone looks and says "Nerd"

    "Dude just laughs it off
It's an AK dude! HA HA HA
    Everyone makes space for retards

    "dude" goes back to reload
    Finds .38, .45, 12 gauge, .308 ammo
    Near stack of empty mags

    Others have graciously donated ammo
to the cause of tard blowing up
    Sit back and watch show

    Scary part he was willing
None of the rest were all villian
    All made careful mental notes

    On lack of mental abilities
"Too bad not this time, maybe next"
    Says one, while they hope

Sorry it's morning, not exactly my creative time...

Story is true, Templar was there and saw the retard do it!

And for the record, I've done a LOT of stupid crap with AK's, but I would never put a .223 in a x39 AK unless it was truly THE LAST ROUND.

    carbon building up on me
carbon building up on you, no man ask for
Under folders that hurt your chin
2x4 built for all i know...
Puts spent rounds at your feet

    It's the terror of knowing
    What this rifle is about
    Watching some good friends
    Screaming, "i'm out...!"
    Tomorrow gets me higher
Pressure on people - people on the range

Chippin' around, kick my spent mags 'round the floor
These are the days - it never fails but it works
brass at my feet - people on the range....

    ill stop now ;p

Just want to remind some of the newer members that this whole thread is in JEST. So no one needs to get their knickers in a twist about it.

My thoughts exactly. The best weapon is the one you own/train with and can use effectively. Now, there's arguments against the Commie rattle traps but also against the AR line (does AR stand for @n@l Retentive....as in it needs to be kept pristine??) LOL.

All in good fun....trying to feul the fire a little

As a guy who has been on both sides of this debate, here goes. I think that this whole debate, and many like it, are totally irrelevant to the point. While we wring our hands and endlessly debate the merits of one weapon over another, the entire point of the exercise is missed. And that is, having a weapon that you can use. And having the mindset to use it. And being physically able to use it. From a strictly survivalist standpoint, most any good civilian weapon will suffice, from .22 to .30 caliber. When rapid fire and large mag capacity are added in, you are now getting into the armed conflict arena, kissing cousins to the unconventional warfare arena. In this case, traditionally, you use whatever is at hand, until you can trade up to what the enemy has, or what may be provided by an outside source. In our case, we are in a rather unique situation, in that we have guns out the ying-yang available, which seems to spark this endless debate, if even in jest. So looking at this debate within the context of where it will actually (probably?) be used, the question is can you sustain your weapon's choice throughout the course of likely events? If you can, fine. If not, then thought needs to be given to either using the enemy for re-supply, or some sugar-daddy re-supplying you. Based on virtually universal hatred for America abroad, I think it would be smart on planning on using the enemy for re-supply. (Note: Please don't ask: who's the enemy? Let's just stay hypothetical for the moment, thank you.) With that in mind, based on your estimate of the situation, you should give consideration to using what you think the bad guys will have.

Yeah, I think Stoner was still trying to work out the FTEs back then but I understand the bayonet option was rather handy when it came to herding the elephants and rhinos.

    "Jesus wept."

i'm going to take a guess at the inference.

Jesus looked forward and saw men, women, boys and girls, good folks, bible believing, God trusting, folks.
folks that were concerned for their tribe and kingdom, folks awakening from their slumber and sheepiness.
intelligent folks, survival minded. folks that are concerned for others... anti communists...
knowing they needed to protect their family and village, they followed the communist pattern and went for
    a commie weapon...
    and Jesus wept!
    Or maybe like this....

Some of the others with similar beliefs chose other weapons to save themselves and their tribes...and Jesus wept!

    Last of the 5.56 Arsenals.

    Great gun, stupid caliber.

I heard they are including a free Etch a Sketch for AR owners looking for something black and 5.56 but can't understand the manipulations that many modern weapons use.
