Ms. McCarthy, a Democrat from New York, called high-capacity magazines "the common thread in every mass shooting in recent history."

Uh, how about those SSRI's many of the shooters were using, or had used? Has that not been a common thread? I guess not since those pharma companies have big bucks they can donate to campaigns and MSM TV ads.

          Just sayin'

Look at NY boys and girls! You think Obummer isnt in continual contact with Bloomberg and Cuomo on this issue?
NY is the litmus test and you can bet your last bag of rice that Obammy is keeping a close watch of what happens next!

You watch. They'll slip something like this in as an ammendment on a bill that has to be passed - like the debt ceiling.

It's just the beginning. It's a new AWB for now. A new attack on the magazine capacity stuff. Next, soon, it will be the ammo.

IF memory serves me correctly, which it doesnt very much...after the ban there were the "cop killer" bullets that were banned. I think they were called "Star-Fire" or something like that. What is funny is my FIL was collecting and inventorying his ammo when he bought this huge gunsafe. He had no idea how much ammo he had collected from all over his house. One of the boxes of 50 rounds of .45 was labeled with a sticker on it from Woolworths for $4.99. Now thats some old Ammo.

                          Sounds like my kinda guy!
I bought my first M1 Garand for $268 from Woolworths Dept Store in West Palm Beach, Florida. Yes, that was a while ago.:D
Of course, that may not sound like much, but I was probably making $2 an hour back then.
