Not a debbie downer at all. No reason to be down over the things you cant control. I am curious as to why the UN hasn't stepped in to look at the poorly calibrated machine, that was probably designed by a company that donated heavily in the outcome of this election. I am sure the voting machines are a pain the the butt to calibrate and the volunteers are/were not properly trained to actually calibrate them.
But can you imagine the headlines if the person was attempting to vote for Obama and it came up Romney? "ROMNEY CHEATING AT THE POLES" "REPUBLICANS RIG VOTING MACHINES"
But I havent seen this show up too many places yet.

Me, personally, I think there will be some martial law situation in the next 4 months that will require Executive Orders out the ying yang, thus ensuring a longer than necessary transition if Romney does win. I think you are going to see massive voter fraud in the inner cities of this country. It is like we live in two different worlds. those of us who want the opportunity to better ourselves and our children through our on hard work and those who want their FREE Stuff.
If Obama loses then there will be unrest but I don't expect it to be wide spread. this is as bitter an election as I can remember and I go way back. It all comes down to the swing states like Ohio. As one guy put it in 2008 we proved we were not racist and in 2012 we need to prove we are not idiots. GB

I watched this video and fact checked it. It's all true.
America is going broke no matter who gets elected. We can't even afford social security...by itself. That doesn't even count the military or tons of other government programs. Vote for whoever you want, it doesn't matter.

Grand, our candidate didn't get far either and since Rush and Beck aren't running I guess we'll settle for Mitt. You're right. Sorry Charlie, I ain't buying it. And the fact he still has a good majority of the Jewish vote baffles the life out of me.
Overall, I can see Romney as more Presidential as many are saying. And putting aside the feelings of detest for the current occupant, I've just never seen him as "presidential" by any means. Mitt looks like someone I can trust, like an accountant I'm trusting my family fortune to (in more ways than one). I'm trusting my life and the life of my country to him at this point. Or better yet the soul of our country. Big O just looks like the kind of guy trying to sell me cheaper insurance rates with all sorts of hidden clauses. Lots of fine print you didn't see until after you signed the policy. Or more like a rock star as they keep treating him. And the media is ignoring the fact he has made no promises, none whatsoever except for the potential for a new assault weapons ban. He's held no press conferences, no interviews and answered no tough questions about what direction he wants to take the country except for "forward." While Romney hasn't been the greatest detailing his plans, he has plans and the continual campaign slogan of "I'm going to reach across the aisle and work this out" somewhat holds promise. To me, that's a "remains to be seen and how well we can work this out" plan that's generally a smart move. Now, the same thing was said in 2008 with "bipartisanship" and "transparent government" by someone else, but this time I can believe it since the track record shows Romney's done it before. But the press keeps on ignoring that. They should be demanding interviews, press conferences and asking the hardball questions to Obama, but the media bias has killed actual news reporting in this country and focused in on attempting to sway the vote by selected sound bites and comments taken completely out of context.
Let's face it, with the exception of Fox News, the major networks have tried everything in their power to destroy Romney. But he keeps bouncing back. And the latest stupid nonsense of making issues of "binders full of women" and bayonets just reeks of desperation from the MSM part. I mean, seriously? Can't find anything else worth reporting so we are focusing in on a mis-wording of a comment which Romney was pointing to the fact he had more women in his cabinet than any other governor in his state? And as for the military not asking for more money? That's a laugh. We always need more money. I'm fairly certain the Navy would like a bigger budget and more ships no matter what the President says. It's easy to say "they didn't request it" when the fact is the budget is not allowing us to fund new ships...barely helping us fund day to day operations. Of course the squeaky wheel gets the grease and none of the Joint Chiefs are willing to go out and ask for more money in a time when they know it's politically unpopular to do so. And besides the fact some of the services are fairly good at wasting money as we've all seen. Anyway...
There never was much of a contest in my mind even though the candidate I had in mind didn't go far. But I've placed my faith in the system once again and "hope" for "change" from a different perspective. Romney knows how to run a successful business, knows how to balance a budget, knows how to reach across the aisle... And frankly, we need someone who knows these things and will not continue piling up one trillion plus in debt every year. Who won't continue to shun our strongest allies in a volatile region in a vain attempt to garner favor with predominate Islamic countries that historically use us for their own ends and stab us in the back when they can. Who won't continue to infringe on our rights. Will play hardball with our trading partners, namely China. Will bring a budget under balance. Will make an attempt at bipartisanship since again, historically he has before. And bring back prosperity to our nation.
Mitt's no Ronald Reagan, but from what I've seen, he's what our country needs right now. We can't handle four more years of neglect from the rock star while he takes more trips overseas trying to get the Olympics in Chicago (as if that is a good idea...marathon running through the South Side. Yeah, smart) or shopping trips or golf dates or generally getting treated with kid gloves like he has for the past four years. We need leadership and frankly, he had his chance. If you haven't done it in four years, you ain't gonna do it in eight. Time to move on (no pun intended) and give the opportunity for someone else to shine.
Vote folks, it's our soul on the line.
Mitt reminds me a lot of Bush Jr. except I think his accounting skills might be a bit better than Bush's and I like the idea that he wants to increase the military budget.Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.
