So we are a little slow with watching cause we don't have cable or dish. Got the 2nd season on DVD and recently finished it.

WTF was with "Dale" the last ep he was in??? Seriously, both me and the spousal unit said "treason" when we saw the BS he was playing. Trying to get everyone involved in trying to save the kid that SHOT at one of the crew, tried to escape 2X, tried to manipulate the kid and then told the redneck guy about what his crew did to girls during raids?

      WTF OVER????

I've said numerous times you have to KNOW your people. Their are some you could "discuss" this with, and their are some you could not. Send Shane out to "check on" the guy, shoot him and tell the mamsey pamsey types (Dale, short haired lady, others on fence) that he was escaping.

But no.... instead let some old man trying to look like Gilligan (I'm glad he died cause that damn hat is gone now) instigate trouble and sow dissent in the group. How stupid is that!!!
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

I always hated him. THIS dynamic is exactly why you have to choose your people that you want to be there in the end. Now these guys were forced together, but Rick needed to assert some leadership of the team and make some command decision, especially when the decision is the death of another. But if they could have spent a little more time watching dale get eaten, I would have been okay with that.

He sucked and he needed to sleep with the fishes after the betrayal. That was treason plain and simple.

The problem with people like him is they want to play "democracy" when a true democracy (mob rule) doesn't work. Especially not when flesh eating cannibals are running around.

This season saw Rick and Shane running around chasing people that had done stupid stuff or run off, that seemed to be the overriding theme. What should have happened was that some of the people on the periphery like Dale should have been sent out on some of those foraging trips, etc. versus just walking his stupid RV with his Gilligan hat and slung rifle. After he had experienced a few LIFE THREATENING events he might have hardened up a bit. The problem is they got comfortable there and fags like him went back into "let's all play fair" mode. Everything had changed, the S has HTF, yet some still had not made the mental change necessary.

And WTF is with that stupid a.. boy? "Geez Rob, why are you always saying people need to get their out of control kids in check, that's the least of my worries, I have to buy more crap!" Watch a couple episodes where the Mom has no idea for the upteemth time where the hell the kid is.... Let's see, he caused someone's death, brought walkers to the farm, screwed up an execution that might have solved the Rick/Shane problem (Shane was looking for Rick to show some nuts there and lost all respect for him after that), and stole a pistol from one of the actual worthwhile members. Geez, why would you need to keep your kids under control? Hell I don't know!! LOL

Yeah that kid needed some serious discipline and mom needed to keep a better eye on him...don't know where your kid is and he is out wandering the woods and ends up bringing walkers to the farm...he needed the board of education! They also should have shown him how to shoot imo.

Oh hell, I think they all shoot at the level of SF or Spetsnaz types..... And the kid is following that.

I would love to make a video showing a decent level (not new) shooter and how many head shots can realistically be made under stress, at moving targets, WHILE you are moving at moving targets, from the windows of vehicles driving faster than needed.... LOL

I'm thinking a "Walking Dead Shooting School" to impart these mad accuracy skills they all magically received would be well attended LOL

Just finished watching them on Netflix. Pretty decent show as far as zombie flix go. I don't mind all the asshattery with the various characters' personalities and such. Sure some of them are complete tools but in my experiene in dealing with the general public, I don't think some of it is too far off base. I did find it interesting that a show based on people trying to "survive", the one guy they picked to be labeled as "a survivalist"..... they vilified by making him a lazy, overweight, womanizing, abusive husband and father. Typical of hollywood I suppose. As is the SF/Spetsnaz shooting and Hershals pump shotgun that apparently can fire 15 shells or more without reloading. It is what it is... all in all it is entertaining to watch while reloading ammo.

Something has bothered me about the whole Atlanta thing. I know it is accurate but why was the CDC put in a major metropolitan area? That just deems like a bad idea. I assume the whole fail safe explosives are T.V. fact only but why Atlanta?
