I have been looking at some of this show with a lot of laughter. Granted it does have some decent ideas and all, but I think what they are going for is civility during and after a SHTF or ZHTF... (you don't want the masses figuring they can act like hoodlums during a pre-SHTF event, that would cause a lot of chaos, although there will be a lot of chaos during SHTF. Think back to the whole "fire" issue with Beavis and Butthead. We don't need a whole bunch of idiots trying this stuff and thinking that they can blame the show for the way they act- IMHO)

Not that I am saying civility is a bad thing, but several months after a PAW event, civility is going to be hard pressed to find. I give the lawman props for trying to hold up what is left of the law in his mind, but eventually I think people would wise up and figure out that being on your own, means thinking on your own.

Either way, we all know how we would react. For them to not go to a auto parts store and the library to figure out how to fix the part, I find that exceptionally difficult to swallow. There has to be some socket sets, wrenches and duct tape somewhere.

Heh heh, my thoughts as well. I was screaming at the TV, "get that tank fired up and rock and roll!"

So much can be learned from this show.
I learned that zombies can smell fresh meat! Didn't know that! My son and I were discussing ways to avoid zombies and he suggested that zombies can't swim. I don't think they can but I swear I saw a zombie flick once where they walked underwater.

I kept thinking a few Molotov cocktails would not only take a few out but keep the others accupied with the light and sizzle of burning dead flesh...

If they are decomposing in certain stages they will float very well . But in a boat with high sides I doubt they would be much of a threat , plus the water logged flesh will decompose quicker plus fish eating on them will help you out .

Cool! Chumming the water for you. Can you eat the fish?

Oh just remembered something else I learned - zombies can pick up and use rocks to smash into department stores. Didn't know that either.

I was underwhelmed with it Season 2-1/2... Just more emotional angst and "character development" on a safe, comfy farm (low budget) as compared to an urban zombie-fest (high budget)... Now we have the pregnant momma in a ridiculously stupid car wreck, so we have the rest of Season 2 at the "Sunnyside Farms" I guess...

I am so disappointed in this Season 2... But it was a good saloon gun fight though... Fast & furious... LOL!

I thought the last episode was realistic with the bad guys trying to gain intel about the farm and the characters dodging the question-also where glen froze up with the shotgun while Rick engaged the two bad guys at the end.people react by their training which rick did and glen didnt.

Rick pulled the ole "Are you gonna whistle dixie" routine and it was so smooth...........now i think the 2.2 is gonna get real good!

Great episode. Those bad guys were looking for some easy takings.....
Even a zombie world, bad guys still try to go the easy was....
