I haven't seen him since that first episode...I think in the season 2 premiere the lead guy "sheriff" was broadcasting on the hand held radio out to him in case he was listening...he might show up in a future episode."It's a trap!!!!" -- Admiral Ackbar

I'm about halfway through the first season. Very good stuff! There seem to be very 'human' moments in this. Watching the characters and thinking, 'yeah, that would really happen'. Not being able to shoot your zombie wife, helping out a gang of hoodlums that were just protecting an old folks home, etc.
If nothing else, this movie has caused me to raise a crossbow up a few ticks on the ol' priority list!In God we trust, everyone else bring data.

I think the word "apocalypse" or phrase "end of the world" are buzz words like EXTREME and UBER....plus if you throw that in title or subject it will get peoples attention...I am just glad they didnt wait until next year to release that 2012 movie. I still think people are going to whig out about that once we get into the Fall of 2012......You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?

thanksgiving 2012 would be a good time to liquidate a little extra pm's and make a lot of extra cash off the sheeple then wait till 2013 for it to cool off and get more.Originally posted by Not_Yet_Prepped View PostJust think of what the cost of Gold and Silver will be by Thanks Giving of 2012!

What do you guys think about the first episode in the second season? I think that the boy will turn out to be fine, but they won't find the girl until a couple episodes into the season. Also, does anyone know how to do the spoiler tag thing so you have to click it to show the text?

I was thinking the whole time, WHY DID YOU LEAVE THE GIRL? They are mindless zombies ""OK honey, I want you to stand 20' behind me in this open field, SCREAM if something comes at you, while I ambush these M&*^ F*^*^&*^^ and make their heads into hamburger!" WHY OH WHY would anybody leave a KID behind and expect them to be able to make it back to safety ALONE in the woods???? Next the dumb dad that let his kid walk up towards a wild deer, guess he has never seen a real deer in rut attack a hunter??? (granted the antlers were still in felt(velvet), but thats close enough to the rut for me to know the kid shouldn't be approaching a wild animal that outweighed him)...Last edited by Klayton; 10-20-2011, 10:25 PM.

Yes and it raised the cross bow to a level of going out and buying one. put food on the table very quietly. As well as a defencive weapon.Originally posted by Knobster View PostI'm about halfway through the first season. Very good stuff! There seem to be very 'human' moments in this. Love this show for a couple of reasons...Puts my wife in the right frame of mind. She loves the show. Also love the terrain that they are in. Not too far from where I live so about the same climate, etc. Dumb things that they do though. My favorite character is definitely the redneck. Himz and me are like peas in a pod...except I wash my face. Part of our plan at our BOL is manning an OP. (There are actually 2 of them). Located in the OP is a crossbow. I have two of them and another member has one as well. Figure there is no telling how much wildlife might walk by while on OP duty.

I watched on netflix strait through . I get pissed off with them , if they are ok with stealing (scavenging) why not upgrade hardware . Just an uparmour hmvee would be zombie proof , hell a large truck with an enclosed work body would be a great upgrade .For example we have a dodge 1 ton 4x4 with a cummins with a snow blade and a enclosed work body would make a better zombie mobile then most of those vehicles they are driving ,just rig some expanded metal over the cab windows . Then with that group of men not one could piece together a radiator hose for that RV , really ? . In the scene with the "thugs" going after a bag of shot guns with all that military hardware around , RIGGHHHHTTTT . Apparently anybody with any sense has bugged out and is drinking coffee in their BOL . lol

Totally agree!! I remember seeing a nice 50 cal sitting there with an ammo belt still in it....I mean come on fire that bad boy up and cut 'em down!!! They can steal a brand new car but can't get a new RV or Bus to ride in....what all the auto parts stores have vanished? give me a break. This is the kind of stuff that frustrates me.Originally posted by Hawk_308 View PostI watched on netflix strait through .
