Last week, after watching "Fat, Sick, and Almost Dead" on Netflix streaming, my wife and I got "rebooted," a term from the video, and re-motivated to get thinner and in better health.
Netflix ~ Fat, Sick, and Almost Dead
We already had a good juicer and blender, so we had ZERO excuses... We started on it last weekend, and we are now finishing up WEEK 1, and so far the results have been GREAT! First couple days were rough as the body went into detox and withdrawls, but Day 3 was much easier and we started to feel really good! Just one week into it and I already feel some clothes are LOOSER than they were last week. Yeah! Don't own a scale, so no pounds numbers, but I FEEL IT... I also feel healthier: more vibrant and alert, as well as some minor (middle age) pains in areas are gone too. We are both really thrilled with the results, but we knew we would once we DID IT. We are no newbies to health & fitness, but HEAD knowledge does not equate to DOING IT, just as it is in SURVIVAL and preparedness. So we are getting the results we expected...
Our diet is heavy on JUICE (mainly vegetable, with some fruit for sweetness), with raw foods thrown in when juicing is not available (lunch), like a salad. We try to get ORGANIC in the veggies that are documented to contain and retain more residual pesticides and pollutants, and regular veggies for everything else. Lots of LOCAL produce here, so it is a GREAT time to do this diet...
We also STRONGLY believe in CELLULAR FUNCTION (health) and cellular DIS-function (DIS-ease) as Dr. Celltox himself best describes...
We plan on keeping on it for 10-days, and then we expect to continue it for a whole month, and even longer... Only breaking from it slightly to add things like rice and beans as the diet progresses, as well as keeping proper "food combinations" in mind for good digestion (a topic that would be a post in and of itself).
Just wanted to post our progess here among my survivalist nutjob friends... LOL! Hugs and kisses, really. haha!
