Well considering it was some bogus "tactical superstore" place and usually you just go to places like that to see things in person and then find them online cheaper, I had to assume the "superstore" was overpriced -as they are with most everything else- and I could probably find it cheaper online.

I am not aware of anywhere that you can get First Spear "cheaper".....

Look at the banshee plate carrier. I have found it comfortable. I've only worn it for about a three hour stretch though doing work around the house. Haven't worn it running a class though. Waiting for it to get colder here and I can work the yard with it on under a jacket. :))
I think plate carriers are like shoes in that you really need to try them on to see how it fits. Torsos are different widths and lengths and all carriers adjust differently. I was lucky as I ordered the banshee online, to get the best price, but only after doing a look of research. I looked at utubes and read reviews where people would give their sizes that matched mine to see how they liked it.

First Spear plate carrier
Just for Templar and various gear hors de vours out there ;)
So I tried on a First Spear plate carrier. OMG it's COMFORTABLE and bad arse. No tag on it at the shop I tried it on at. Looking it up, I think it's called an "Amphibian"
Gal did some "research"- I'm thinking this is no $100. plate carrier, but if it's $250. I may bite the bullet, Christmas and all, and DAMN it's comfortable!
$419. OUCH!!! That's NOT comfortable.
Coolness factor? Yes. Wallet casualty factor? Definitely.
On the plus side, looked extremely well put together.
Anyone with a new one or very nice used one that wants to trade for prep gear, towards NV, etc. I'm interested.
Tell me where I can find it cheaper, the hebrew in me just won't let it happen...Tags: None
