"One cannot but ponder the question: what if the Arabs had been Christians? To me it seems certain that the fatalistic teachings of Mohammed and the utter degradation of women is the outstanding cause for the arrested development of the Arab. He is exactly what he was around the year 700, while we have kept on developing. Here, I think, is a text for some eloquent sermon on the virtues of Christianity." - General George S. Patton, diary, June 9, 1943.
Playing around with doing some mix and match ideas.... first one was using AOR2 patterned gear along with digital woodland clothing. It worked surprisingly well and really helped to break up ones overall shape/outline.
Some video with Pencott Greenzone. Probably our current overall favorite.... unfortunately, its not widely available yet.
Notice the changes in coloration and how it blends, as the lighting changes and filters through the tree's. Also note how distance affects it. This is true of all current camo patterns. At 100 yard plus, they tend to start becoming a solid color. This is where the versatitlity of the colorway used in the pattern comes into play, and its ability to appear as a lighter or darker solid, given its surrounding light and color. As always, movement is key at both close and far distances, regardless of the pattern/color.
Disclaimer.... this video is NOT meant to show proper movement tactics, etc....
