Where do you buy your buckets of prepackaged grains, beans and legumes?

i endorse their overall dealing and their lts food.
i would check with lds and any supplier directly to get as good information as possible..
expecially on detailed questions such is ... is it non gmo.
better to get first hand info..

Thanks everyone, I was looking at LDS and Emergency Essentials because the prices and shipping are really good but I wonder about the quality of the grain. Does anyone know if the grains with either of these companies are non gmo?

Walton Foods in Idaho used to be THE place to purchase, but their shipping is expensive and many times they are running behind in filling orders.

Actually Walton Foods is the manufacturer that JRH uses and their shipping was cheaper than if I had shipped the same package. See my review in the members forum.

6 cans, 3 - 16 bean soup ; 1 green beans; 1 hash browns, and 1 potato dices. Total weight 32 pounds (i believe) shipping was $29.

I have bought some grains from Emergency Essentials in their "superpails" and I found the cost to be quite reasonable. However, if you don't want your neighbors to know what you are buying, be aware that this company prominently displays their logos everywhere on the boxes and buckets. I have bought from Honeyville also and they are good folks as well.

Most folks I know only use 5-gal. buckets to home pack their grains, beans, and rice they buy in bulk bags locally. Those buckets are VERY heavy to handle/ship. Many have changed to purchasing cases of #10 size cans of prepacked foods which are easy to store, and easy to use. Honeyville Grain seems to have good prices on a good variety of foodstuffs and have inexpensive shipping charges. Also the LDS church has a website where one can order some of the basics like beans and wheat, also packed in #10 cans. Walton Foods in Idaho used to be THE place to purchase, but their shipping is expensive and many times they are running behind in filling orders. It seems to be much more economical to purchase the foods you want/eat in bulk locally and then re-pack them to suit your needs.

For those that buy the buckets of food in buckets already sealed and have the 02 packets in them can you tell me a good source that offers a decent price and good quality?
