Just put up 14 buckets of dry goods this past week. Went back today to inspect them and put lids on them.
I had 11 that were so air tight that it made the wheat, beans, etc feel like bricks. But there were 3 that still had some air in them. Not much, but some. On all 3, I was not able to fill the buckets near the top due to having to split 50 lb bags to fit my bucket sizes. That made it hard to get most of the air out before sealing. (Sounds like a lame excuse to me!)
The question is, do I need to redo those 3 bags or is a small amount of air alright?
As always, thanks for your help and advice.
