They claim small amounts of rust, debris, or even a small jolt can push the connector out of alignment, separating the trigger itself from the rest of the firing mechanism. Every 700 I have seen/heard of that had this problem, the trigger had been adjusted on it. Leave the trigger alone unless you know what your doing, and make sure anyone you have adjusting it, knows what they are doing.
