coat pocket if the weather's bad, front pants pocket if it's nice or hot. The Kahr CM9 is one sweet choice for that rig, too. I ccwed IWB for 10 years, and it sucks, frankly, especially when bad weather makes you fasten that outer coat, and maybe also wear gloves. You are talking 2.5-3.5 seconds to make a ccw draw from under TWO garments, to get off a good shot. Since you can charge the attacker and break his neck if you have that much "free" time, why bother with such a rig?
with your hand on the gun, still in your pocket, you are 1/2 second (including reaction time) from having that gun pointed at the bad guy, which will suffice to make him flee, at least 3/4 of the time, if you have left him an escape route and drawn while you still had time and space in which for him to notice the gun and stop. It's stopped men for me 5x now. Almost any cop will tell you the same thing. It's pretty rare for guys to force you to fire, much less hit them solidly and repeatedly, with powerful ammo.
