Marion, I know it varies state to state but you can carry in some courthouses now. I'm to the point now that if a business puts up a sign that says I can't even conceal/carry in their place, I'll respect their decision but take my business elsewhere. I don't carry when I'm on my property because I'm surrounded by guns and various weapons (that may change soon) but I carry everywhere else.Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.

Hey Justi. Just curious, and not trying to be contrary, but do you tell the owner/manager the reason why you are boycotting their store? So they know why people won't shop with them anymore. That's a good thought Cimarron and I hope others take it to heart. I haven't run into any place I shop that doesn't allow conceal/carry.....yet...but, yes, I will tell them why. When I see something that a business is doing that I feel is wrong I don't have any problem mentioning it to the owner or manager. My most recent complaint was to Lowe's management about people being allowed to bring their dogs into the store. I know there were many more who must have complained because it wasn't long before a sign was posted on the entry doors banning dogs unless they were...I forget the term...for special needs folks. Even Lowe's employees were complaining to the management because dogs were barking at people and going #1 and #2 on the floor and merchandise.Originally posted by Cimarron View PostHey Justi. Hi Justified. The court houses I have had business with in New Hampshire and Maine are all posted with no weapons allowed. The only change to this is if you are currently wearing your uniform or are one of those "special" officers. The WalMart in my old home town posted a sign saying no weapons allowed and received enough flack they removed the sign. Maybe the squeaky wheel does get the grease sometimes.
