Hello,
First of all, i'm NOT anti-gun. I just believe all the guns will be taken, and those that refuse to give them up will end up Waco'ed. We currently have one gun, a nice S&W model 810 9mm. It is registered with my wife's CCW. I fully expect that at some point some very polite government weasel will show up to confiscate it under color of law.
After thinking it through, I decided that our nice little pistol is NOT the hill I'm willing to die on. We currently have an 80 pound draw compound bow for me, and we are thinking about a crossbow for my wife. She's a strong girl, but there's no way she can pull even a 60 pounder.
I also have a nice big survival knife with lashing holes so my hiker's staff, and it's leather wrist thong can be quickly converted into an effective spear. For hunting purposes, I have one of those extended slingshots with the wrist saddle. Squirrel, possum, and raccoon for dinner...yum yum :D
Given that ammo will always be a limited resource even discounting government seizure, have any of you given serious thought to non-firearm options?
