I went to a gun show last weekend and purchased a new handgun. It's a Smith and Wesson .380 Bodyguard. While I love my Ruger SP 101 Revolver, it is so 'HEAVY' that carrying it in my purse is likely to give me rotator cuff damage.
Anyway, I love it so far. It's light weight, has this neat little built in laser and fits neatly in a medium size purse. The trigger pull is tight according to my friend, but after I shot her Sig Sauer, which has a light trigger pull, I'm glad the SW has a tighter one. If I ever shot someone, I want to be sure I actually 'WANT' to shoot them.
I went shooting with it yesterday, and having never shot a semi auto I left with some nasty cuts on my hand from not handling the slide correctly.
I've decided I need 'LESSONS' and have signed up for them beginning next Thursday. Hopefully, I'll become more proficient after taking the lessons.
Anyway, so far I just love the little bodyguard.
