Oddly, I couldn't edit my original message on Pg1, so here are the updated pics I took today...

The day off allowed me to catch up on all kinds of things... lol.

Primary ~ All Purpose & Bug Out

Primary ~ Home & Perimeter Defense

I like that stock on the AR Rmpl. I know their is an adapter made that goes from an AK to a stock like that. Does anyone who makes it?

I think the stock is made by CAA or something. A guy at a class in May had one of his AK and I could tell it was durable as all get out.

      TIA

The stock is a MAGPUL CTR. Very well made, but I don't know anything about an AK mount for a stock that goes on a AR mil-spec tube.

Maybe it was CAA for the connector then? Thanks. I really liked that stock.

Everyone said the Tapco T6 or whatever CAR15 style stock for the AK's would not hold up. But I'm over 3 years on mine with probably close to 10K rounds in that time period, lots of "up and down" activity with the rifle, etc. It's held up fine. But obviously the stock in your picture is MUCH better made.

Nice paint job... It looks like it is holding up well. If I wasn't scared I was going to mess it up and had the airbrush stuff, I'd do one on mine...

My Tapco folding stock seems a little weak, but it has never failed (4k or more). But I find that I am careful with it.

Its nearly impossible to screw up, and you dont need any airbrush stuff. ;)

Ask the guy who knows the guy if that middle one has a "scout-type" scope on the forearm...

With my eyes, I like magnification, USEFUL magnification, like that of my ACOG, and what holds me back from AK's is the scope situation seems limited... but I am an AK idiot, so maybe I just don't know...

Yes it confuses the hades out of people but it DOES work. The rifle that's mounted on does not have a receiver side rail. It's a Polytech. The only good mount I've worked with for that type is the Ultimak.

One of the other mods here has a similar setup, he hasn't had any problems with it either.

I've used it like this for about 2 years now. Before an IDPA silhouette was the same size as the front sight at 200 yards, now I can make it out and make good hits to 300.

u obviously haven't been to many ranges. :-) I've had half a dozen AR's that worked just fine and I" have personally witnessed scores more doing just fine, also.
