no its a great great rifle I recommend it all the time, tiny groups at great distances..... the composite stock makes it a little hard on the shoulder because of how light it is, I am just a lefty and would like to have the bolt lever on the left hand side, I may get one yet, but the ak is first. In refernce to lowdowns point, I live in close quarters highly treed areas, there is a 40 acre stand of 50 year old doug firs outside my window les the n 200 yards, so unless you are walking down a highway you will either be in suburbs or walking thru forests with doug fir and cedars, so for me unless I am hunting elk, I need something that will work at 150 yards minus..... and capable ofhi magazine counts. I will rarely get sitelines of 500 yards, if ever.Comment

CZ, Savage and Remmington all make leftys. Come to think of it, I believe Armalite offers a 50 in a lefty and Ruger and perhaps Winchester also offer them. Right now I'd have to say I like my Savage best. Short action 308 and light. Detachabel magazine, 1 in 10 twist so it will launch the heavier bullets. I'll try to post some photos here.Comment

yes I do know there are companies that make lefties, I look forward to your pics....... but the point of this post was for a semi auto, with international chambering, that had decent moa out to 150 yards. I can do 2 to 3 moa at 150 with iron sights (is a trijicon red triangle considered iron?) with my AR standing unsupported, and 1-2 with 4x scope out to 200-250 prone with a bipod, this is with lake ammo xm93, and specifically I wanted something the chinese and russians carry. 7.62x39 and 7.62x54 seems to be standard issue for ground troops internationally. if there is another choice that is more accurate I am all for it, if there is anything close to the reliability of the AK platform, I am willing to listen. I am still building my armory, and if I go on a walk about it will be with the AR for now, but when chairman mao comes, I will want to be able to use their ammo of choice.Comment

Yeah, I would too. I think the remake of Red Dawn is justa bout done. All the commies and a lot of the guys we're fightin now are using what I always thought was Mikhails best invention, the PKM machinegun. It fires the 7.62x54 which is onea my favorite all time rounds, that's why I suggested the PSL.
There won't be any fight 'cause the elite here are gonna give all the federal land to 'em in exchange for our debt.Comment
