  • Wow...what a powerful chapter! .....

...I must be getting old and in need of glasses...the keyboard is blurry....

Thanks, Grand. Another emotional rollercoaster of a chapter.

Thank you. I appreciate the comment. Sometimes things just grab hold of your brain and you can't help but write about them. I speak to this point in the afterthoughts, but I knew as soon as I started "Lucky" had to be put on hold. I appreciate the readers indulging my "little" side story here.

Simple: He's waiting to see how Charlie pulls through :D

                        • What kind of story would I have without any suspense? The epilogue hasn't been posted (yet) but it's already written.

                          • I think RememberGoliad has it right - just like FOTH with Einar & Liz.

Grand - ouch. ;) If I get any further on the edge of my seat I'm going to fall off!
I think the only thing worse than waiting for news at a hospital is the frantic drive to get there.

This story, I'm trying to come up with a better word cuz it just doesn't do it justice, has been a roller coaster of emotions. Surprise, hope, anger, fear, curiousity, panic, joy, pain, anticipation, dread, tears, laughter, heart thumping action, and gasps of shock. The best stories always are.

                              • Being from Upper, upper East Tennessed, this story has been awesome. Knowing the area, (Unicoi county, Erwin, Johnson City, etc) has made the story personal to me. Great jog, you should have NO trouble getting this published.
