Yeah, thanks Claymore and Patriotic. Storing this stuff is kinda tough... As seems the case with a lot of prepper items.
To pick up on what Grand said about having different kits for different situations, that is kinda my idea... Having three kits essentially, varying in ability. One for home, one for my primary car, and one for a bug out with a Pack. But ideally all of them would complement each other and have a some redundancy.
One lesson learned was during a time I was mountain climbing in extremely remote wilderness, where I sprained my knee severally. We ran out of compression bandaging quickly. By the grace of God, my partner and I were able to make it out... But it took three days. TRUST me, anyone who holds the notion that they are going to just rough it or bug out through the wilderness has a hard lesson to learn.
