  • Survival Walking Stick

Here is an idea I had to make a Survival walking stick. It is made from a one inch PVC pipe that has been cut into 2 two foot sections and couplings have been glued on so the walking stick can be carried easier if need. The walking stick comes with a water filter. fire starter, duct tape, sewing kit, para cord, water proof matches, tree saw, one hacksaw blade, knife and more.

The bottom portion has a threaded electrical 1 inch coupling rivited into the bottom so you can thread in attachments.

I had made a video on how it was made and the different attachments I have for it.

These kind of things are fun to make with the kids and it can be a life saving piece of equipment if the SHTF happens.

good job...ive thought about making small tubes like that for the car kit/bobs. just something to toss in and go.

That is a great idea. I noticed you used military camouflage on the outside. I was thinking, my 86 year old mother uses a cane. You could definitely make it like nothing but an old person's cane! I think I'll make one in pink.:))

I have found that the camo duct tape I used is far more durable than standard duct tape. It is extremely hard to tare and seems to be a bit more rubbery. Standard duct tape is easy to ripe but the camo not so much and I dont know why but its strong and looks good too. I hpoe the pink works good for you.

By the way I was up hiking in Sedona last week to Devils Bridge and the walking stick was a life saver during the hike.

Fantastic idea - the ultimate grab and go BOB which is pute stealth - who would think of stealing a walking stick even a goblin who might steal your BOB would tend to overlook a walking stick and you still would have the bare minimum survival supplies.

                        Thanks

I'm an electrician so I'm going to mess around with this concept a little more. Thanks for the great idea! Maybe 1 1/4" for more room. Looks like the possibilities are limitless.

If you can, make it out of schedule 80. Makes it a lot tougher.
