What can you do about the problem that has kept coming up now for almost a year that I was "assured" by both Landon and Heather on 3/29/2012 that this would be taken care of.

Derek Johnson from myfoodstorage.com/ jHrfoods called me at 1:06pm on 1-9 and we spoke for 14 minutes regarding the problem with the name similarities. I sensed a lot of doubt in Derek's voice early on that it was indeed a problem. I very very clearly assured him that it was and that I was done dealing with THEIR pissed off customers since one freaked out and called my wife a "stupid B****" on the phone.

I explained to Derek that people were confusing us with them because of the name similarities, even though their website is "myfoodstorage.com" via two ways- one is their email address that has "jHrfoods" in the name and the other is that their CC processor puts jHrfoods on people's credit card statements as who they paid when they order from myfoodstorage.com

You'll note that it was the email address that came up originally back in March of 2012 and that I was "assured" by Heather and Landon (supposedly another owner) that they would change immediately. And of course in almost a year, they have NOT changed.

Derek said that changing the email address would be easier and they would do that immediately. He also said he would talk to his CC processor about having it listed as myfoodstorage.com versus the jHrfoods thing that confuses people. Derek also claimed he would send me an email that day (yesterday) summarizing everything we agreed to.

We did not receive an email from Derek so I followed up to the email address I had for him with the following:

      Robert Henry <jrhenterprises@dishmail.net>

      9:49 PM (12 hours ago)

      to Derek
      Derek,

      To summarize our conversation today-

In order to cut down on the amount of phone calls and emails to us (JRH Enterprises) from your customers (jHr foods/myfoodstorage.com) asking about delayed orders, missing items from orders, and in general just being rude jerks to me, my wife and other staff because they think they ordered with us when in reality they ordered from your company-

*You are going to change the email address that your order confirmations send from. This will mean your customers will no longer get an email that has jhr in the address of it, hopefully cutting down on the number of people that will contact us for orders they placed with you.

*Per your statement- you are going to see what your credit card processor can do in regards to the name that shows when you charge a customer for an order so that jhr does not come up, but your website address (myfoodstorage.com) does so as to hopefully cut down on the number of people that see 'jHr' , do a google search, find JRH and call us all pissed off cause they did not get their orders.

We appreciate your help in finally getting this resolved. As I mentioned on the phone we contacted your company and was assured by both "Heather" and "Landon" that this problem would be taken care of in March of 2012. Yet it's clear they did nothing about it and as I told you today, I felt like they were blowing me off that day I talked to both of them.

As I told you today, we have been on the receiving end of some VERY NASTY and upset people calling looking for orders placed with you all. Frankly, I'm done having my wife called a "stupid *****" over mistakes and problems we are not even causing!

Obviously their is a multitude of ways we can respond in these situations and while we have for almost a year been amicable with these people when they have called looking for your company, that WILL change very quickly if this situation is not resolved immediately and permanently. Having your wife called a "stupid *****" by some jerk pissed off with someone else's mistake tends to bring you to the end of your rope.

So go ahead and send me that email confirming what we talked about like you said you would earlier, or simply reply to this email with it. I'm going to need to know someone is actually dealing with this problem on your end this go around as obviously it did NOT happen last time.

We would like to stay amicable on this situation with you all.

Why am I posting this here? For DOCUMENTATION.

IF/when I get an email back from Derek Johnson confirming what we talked about, I will post that also.

Getting your wife cussed out by some wussy that would never do it in person over SOME OTHER COMPANY'S PROBLEM is not conducive to keeping someone amicable with you.

They would be wise to consider the many many ways we could respond to this.

What a cluster for you to have to deal with. I am curious though.....what did the (rude) customer have to say once he was made aware that you were not the company he had ordered from?

WHICH ONE?? lol. Been realistically almost a hundred of them since this crap started almost a year ago.

EVERY ONE of them has been "sure" they bought from us. 90% of them have been COMBATIVE- and hell I can't blame them, some have stated they waited some serious amounts of time from myfoodstorage.com .

ONLY ONE of them called back or said "I'm sorry I had you confused with myfoodstorage.com" after acting like an arse or freaking out on our staff.

You can begin to see why I stated "I'm done" with it :) That's my nice way of saying "if this continues I'm pushing back."

Got a phone call a little while ago from Derek Johnson. He stated that they are "adding their phone number" to the email invoices they send out when someone orders from myfoodstorage.com and that they talked to their CC processor and have added their phone number where it will show next to their name (jHrfoodstorage)

I explained to him that while this is a good start to working on the problem, I highly doubt it will solve all of it. Why? Because people are lazy, may delete the email from them or it may never make it through their spam filter to begin with, etc.

It's the similarity in the names that is the real issue and it doesn't help that when you do a google search for jHrfoodstorage that JRH Enterprises comes up because we have been around longer, etc.

So I thank him for beginning to address the problem after close to a year of not addressing it, but I have major doubts it will get much better.

We both agreed to get back with each other in a month or two and see if it helped.

A public thank you to them for finally beginning to address the issue.

Believe it or not, still getting calls from their customers 3 years later.....

I'd say that's a pretty damn consistent pattern of poor customer service.
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

IF YOUR UNSURE OF WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT OR JUST JOINED US- PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THE WHOLE SHORT THREAD FOR FURTHER EXPLANATION.
                    ________________________________

I mentioned earlier in this thread- a few YEARS AGO- that the rep at "Wise" foods then Dale Kunkel didn't really seem interested in the problem of their wholesaler MYFOODSTORAGE.COM evidently ripping off people and/or their pi$$ poor customer service. Well I guess the jHr/myfoodstorage.com non sense came back to bite them in the arse also. After yet another email then call from someone who was looking for their "$4,000. order" of food storage they paid myfoodstorage.com for, I forwarded the guy's email to "Dale Kunkel" and also "Derek Johnson" supposedly the principal at myfoodstorage.com who had "assured me" years ago (see page 2 of thread) that they were handling things and I would not get their pi$$ed off customers calling me any more. Here is the reply I got from a NEW rep at Wise-

                    Robert,

Dale is no longer with Wise Company. I feel your pain on this issue... We are not affiliated with JHR and they have not purchased our products for resell in almost 2 years. We have been receiving the same type of complaints about orders not shipping and then finding out our customers ordered their product by mistake, thinking it was us.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call me directly at the number below.

                    Best Regards,

                    Brandon Eriksson

                    Wise Company, Inc.

So now they are dealing with the problem of these retards in Utah ripping people off now also! Perhaps if their previous rep Dale Kunkel had shown some damn leadership back when this started, this would have been nipped in the bud.

Once again, JRH Enterprises with 23 years in business is NOT the same as myfoodstorage.com dba jHr digital or jHrfoods out of Utah.

JRH Enterprises is a real company who actually does reply to their customers and we don't hide our phone numbers or contact info.

3 years of this, really? Yet how many naive new people will jump on myfoodstorage.com and for the "free stove" that NO ONE SEEMS TO GET or some other BS scam, pony up money for things they will likely NEVER RECEIVE. Keep in mind this isn't speculation this comes from talking to DOZENS UPON DOZENS of their customers over 3 years now.

                    Sad....

Be discerning, no "free stove" or supposed great deal is worth 4 months of heartache as some of these customers of myfoodstorage.com have been going through.

"Oh man Robert, your pi$$ed!" No not really. But read this thread from the start and look at the great pains I went to during this 3 year period. At first when I actually thought these clowns would improve I didn't even mention their website. Now.... game on!
