Saw one in use at a friend in the mountains about 7 years ago. It worked pretty well. Had NO reception whatsoever without it, and with it you could call out. It was miles and miles off the paved road ;)www.homesteadingandsurvival.com

I had to buy a cell phone booster when I moved back to Florida. The price is $200.00 which really got me angry, so I called my carried, AT&T and complained. What good is cell service, if every call is broken up with static. Anyway, after threatening to leave the provider, they agreed to credit my account $200.00 the price of the booster.
IT WORKS GREAT!!!!!

We get no cell service here in our re-doubt AO......no am or fm either lol........the only alternative is an antenna from Wilson Antennas......they cost about $235.00. We elected to use a landline and went to just one cell phone for trips to town.Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

We have to saddle up and drive toward town, a good three - four miles to get any signal at all. Even then it can cut out at any moment.
The wife and I each have a pay-as-you-go cell phone for emergencies away from home. Here at the homestead we have a land line.
