I get emails from a friend in Florida that loves Beck. The tone of them is always kinda like "can you believe this revelation Glenn Beck had...." and then the message.

I tell him every time (he never remembers) that this is the exact same crap guys like Mark Koernke, Jeff Bennett and others in the Patriot Movement were telling people in the early 90's and everyone said they were loons.

That's almost 20 years ago now.

I'm still awaiting the email from him that will be like this "Hey man did you know that Glenn Beck uncovered the fact that a private banking institution owns our money, not the gubmint!" LMAO

Glad to hear he's talking about food storage. Just hope 1/2 of the people that heed his advice keep their mouths shut about having it and not "tell their neighbor to encourage them." Cause 99% of the time, IT DOESN'T.

Glenn mentioned briefly about a year ago that he was storing food as well as preparing for the 'unthinkable'. My husband is a hugh fan of Glenn. He records it and watches it daily. I watch only occasionally because I get so ANGRY as what is happening I stay upset for hours. I have read his books.

INHO, he is using his platform to educate and warn anyone who will listen. He truly believes his 'mission' is to do this regardless of the consequences.

While the people on the forum do not need to listen to Beck to understand what's going on, hundreds of millions of people do. They're heads are in the sands and they need to be have someone pull it out, fast! There are millions and millions of people who are hearing this stuff for the first time. A good part of the show is devoted to preaching to the audience about what is happening and what our future will look like. To the awake, this sounds like a broken record, but there was a time when I heard this stuff for the first time. We need more strident preacher types to warn the sheeple.

I was awakened by 'accidently' reading a novel, who knows who will awaken from listening to Beck. He is most certainly better than Katie Curic, Dianne Sawyer, or that NBC what his name.

He can afford to he's rich. Thats why he was able to just go get his years supply of food right away. I appreciate his effort but at the same time resent the "you sould go and do this" like we all have the money to like him. I think Crossbow said something along these lines too. Now he has more than the rest and feels back on top. I disagree because skill also plays into it not just toys and belongings. Just go the range and watch a mtach and that becomes rapidly apparent or go to a outdoors retreat and watch folks with new firemakers and multitools who are lost. He's still not where he needs to be nor will anyone following him but I guess it's a start.

I find Glenn Beck both entertaining and informative. He educates many of the 'why's' & 'wherefore's' of what they are feeling or suspect of today's world, and how it came to be that way. Above all, he is an entertainer, and a tad too dramatic at times for my liking. He, and those on Fox News, do a good job of balancing the views of the majority left-leaning media. As far as the food storage show, that segment could easily be summed up with: "Store food now". Specifics were few and far between. I suspect 99% of us here were already on board that train long ago.

Alex Jones has some good stuff as well. He is more into the fanatical end of things...but I dont like how he tried to call out Bill Cooper, saying he was a liar and all, just to bring more attention to himself. Bill Cooper had some great stuff and from some people that I know that may or may not know things, they say most of it is true. I always said if 30% of the info in Behold A Pale Horse was true...we are all screwed anyways. The movie Zietgiest kinda goes along with the same concepts, especially about the banking system and how it runs the country, not the puppet presidents....
Interesting stuff if you have an open mind and dont become so dependent on the info.....I am very skeptical about a lot of things out there these days...I just go off of what seems the most logical to me, but I know with everything I have ever read or learned, that the "not so good" is on the horizon...hence while I started prepping and becoming knowledgable in many areas.

I eliminated Directv could not see paying the high cost of watching TV when you can get it for free in HD. I do miss FOX though

I have listened to Beck since the week of 9/11. He has come a long way - from radio goofball - to quite possibly a modern day prophet.
At the very least he has thoroughly revealed the agendas of the the insane left, and has given those willing to listen ,the highlights
of what is more than likely coming - and soon.
We WILL have to fight to hold on to our republic. You need to decide what you are willing to do to hold on to our way of life.
I know what I am willing to do.
Getting prepared - to hedge against possible hyperinflation and a violent unprepared society. To be prepared is to be calm and to be able to help others when all hell is breaking loose.
In these area Glenn is 100% correct. I believe he is correct in alot of other areas too. I have watched many of his predictions come to pass.
My money goes to get prepared for the worst and hope for something less. God save the Republic.
