Rmpl- I think the 9/11/New Yorker sheeple debacle was largely due to the demographic of those ordering- New Yorkers and Sheeple. Not so oddly enough, had ZERO problems in the thousand plus orders received in under a month during that time frame that came from areas outside of the Northeast.

These "I'm gonna wait till the last minute to prep" folks that hang around survival forums and "play" survivalist are just playing with fate because it's very easy for things to sell out very fast.

Keep your weather eye out folks, some things to remember: 1 The Norks have given a date deadline of April 10th to evac the embassies that carry on diplomatic relationships with them. 2. the Time zone for the Norks puts them about 11 hours ahead of us in the Eastern time zone. In other words, they get April the 10th right around lunch time april the 9th for most of us! Don't get caught unaware.

korean subs hit guam, hawaii and several ports on western seaboard.
several missles are accurate and effectively eliminate most of several west coast military installations. several missles miss the military installations and land in large population centers killing thousands.
a couple of container ships launch and set off emp off the east coast.
elec and phones are down on most of the east coast.

all this occurs tonight 4-9-13

what is my situation as i'm stocked and equipped right now.
i can't go shopping as i'd planned.

with fruitty tuitty in nk, i'm figuring i better take his threats seriously.

A fallout shelter, a huge generator with an equally huge underground fuel supply, solar backup, (all emp protected of course), a communications setup that would make Voice of America jealous, a doctor with a fully staffed trauma unit and pharmacy, a couple of seal teams and all of this located on 1000 acres in the American redoubt. :p

a close associate spent some time in the navy and in korea in the zone.
he suggested seriously that we should learn chinese.

i sold the house with the shelter. the generator is small. the fuel container is small and above ground. the solar panel is a notebook. the walkie talkies aren't quite up to your specs. the doc got the itchies and left the family. no seal teams, but some good ole boys (larry the cable guy!) and the acreage is under your prescritption!!
i've got a long way to go...

Yea, I have the same glitch, but someone programmed in an "Over Ride" that says something like "I have no desire for my daughter to need to speak Mandarin so I must resist for her, and knowing Mandarin may help me better resist."
