I'm unhappy with much of what is going on in this country however unless i'm wrong there is some kind of law or something against this. If anyone truely belives that .gov is just gonna let ya waltz out without a spanking is under a serious delusion and ideas of grandure that the good folks will stand and deal with the evil forces are mere wishful thinking. Most of these good ole boys/girls on the ninja keyboards didnt vote, dont show up when it goes bad, dont actually DO and even the ones who attend them meetins well they still fail to follow thru with actions so unless you want to be standing there alone be careful.
I'm not saying do or don't but be very careful of this "sponsored" website by the very people who will not allow it.
Also look at who is leading this movement and dont follow just anyone once you have made up your mind. Follow their lead no more blindly than you do the current lead as they have their own agendas as well. Many of the lead are worse than the current thugs. Look for a much better leader than the vocal good ole boys club full of cigar smokin, stained shirt, weapon brandishers club who articulation usually starts with "If they try that s... round here.....".
Again I'm not trying to make anyone decide just throwing some food for thought. I have the currently disccused TexOma falling into cartel hands within months myself without the Feds/Military and my espanol is poquito and muy gringo so my life expectancy is about that of a chick fillet sandwich in an overweight straight hetrosexual males convention.
IMO there are some states we would be better off without but they are "dug in deeper than an Alabama tick"

            Just my 2 cents...

Of all the states in the secession "race," Texas is probably the only one that could survive on its own without too much trouble. We have our own oil and gas. We have our own stand alone power grid that can be disconnected from the national grid. We have plenty of food and PLENTY of guns.

That being said, all this talk about secession is mostly bravado. No petition is ever going make any difference.

Obama is busy purging the generals just like Hitler did. His brown shirts, Aka FBI, CIA, DEA, TSA, DHS, ICE, IRS, EPA, will be hard at work taking away more and more of our hard earned liberties.

We CAN secede personally to some degree. We can present a low profile. We can wean ourselves off of those things that make us dependent on the government.

Yesterday I heard that some of the victims of hurricane Sandy are suing the Long Island Power Company because they have been without power for so long. People are complaining about the lack of adequate FEMA relief. Bloomberg even put the kibosh on those who are trying to help feed people. Why? Because they had no way to monitor the nutritional content. Unbelievable!

I just have little patience for whiners and complainers. BTW, they are one of the largest groups who voted for Santa Claus to remain in office.

I am trying to put myself in a position of not having to fight with the hoards at the supermarket and gas station when SHTF, and be able to show some resistance if/when they come sweeping through my neighborhood.

This is from the area of the country that liberals and some dumb city folks think is the "best city in the world."

Doesn't surprise me, hell in some areas of NJ they don't trust you to be able to make a left hand turn....

Hey I got an idea! How 'bout we all stand together as a people...as a nation of people...and fight together instead of breaking apart. There was always a saying that I believed in - 'Love it or Leave it'. Apparently people want to turn their backs on the Constitution in which they claim to defend...so go...and the door WILL hit you in the a$$ on the way out.

                Just my opinion.

Yeah, maybe we can also sit around drinking milk and eating cookies while waiting for our turn on the guitar for a rendition of Kumbaya.

Yeah, I love it and I won't leave it. And it's my right to be unhappy with the way things are going. It's my right to display my unhappiness with the way things are going. And to suggest to my leaders maybe it's time to move on to something else. And frankly, as a citizen it should be your right as well and you should be demanding answers from your government which has twisted and convoluted our nation into something unrecognizable of what it once was. Just in the past six months...

We've seen our government, elected by the people and for the people, engage in a systematic cover up of one of the largest illegal gun running operations this country has ever seen. Not even trying to hide the fact the weapons were used to kill a Border Patrol Agent but the government, again, supposedly for the People, used Executive Privilege to cover up what actually happened and hampered one of the three checks and balances of our nations government. And somehow this didn't raise an alarm with you or cause you concern? Your government is covering up the murder of an American citizen, a sworn law enforcement professional, from an operation that demanded gun shop owners knowingly break the law to sell weapons to known narco-terrorists. And used the so called powers of his office to help in that cover up.

Or the fact they have lied and misled us all about a terrorist attack in Libya. Knowing full well the facts were not entirely known, they embraced the story of how some guy created a video that caused riots in a foreign country. In which led to the deaths of an American Ambassador, a man who represented our nation, and his security detail. And not only attempted to sell this farce to our nation, but continued trying to sell it for several weeks until they knew they couldn't continue with the charade. So a terrorist group killed five Americans and the first knee jerk reaction is to blame a YouTube video? Are you kidding me? And furthermore, the Egyptians decided to storm our embassy in Cairo and replace the American flag with an Islamic pendent. And, by customary law, an Embassy is considered that nation's property. So our property was invaded by a hostile force which we embraced after the revolution, and tore down our nation's symbol? And this is handily ignored by our nation's government?

And moreover, the person who made that YouTube video was taken into custody...ever hear of anything that happened to him? He was arrested for "violation of his probation" and nothing more was heard. A man who was put on blast by our nation's leader in from of the United Nations was arrested by federal agents for "violating probation?" When was the last time someone decided to send Elliot Ness and a bunch of G Men for a simple parole violation? This doesn't strike you as odd? And furthermore held without bond for a parole violation? Unusual...

But overall, five Americans were begging for help from being overrun by hostile forces and YOUR government which supposedly is for the People, didn't react. They LET five Americans, including the representative of our nation, DIE. And then engaged in an elaborate cover up to conceal that fact. And you speak to me of "getting along and working together?"

And furthermore, tin foil hat on, all the sudden we have several firings of Generals, Admirals and high profile leaders. First was General Ham, the Africom Commander. Now if rumors are to be believed, he was relieved for saying "screw it, I'm not letting Americans die" and staging forces to go in and help in Benghazi. So he was relieved for...what exactly? No reason given, just straight up relieved. And Vice Admiral Miller, 6th Fleet Commander who just happened to be in the area of Benghazi, relieved at the same time for "an ongoing investigation." So two flag officers in the region relieved for unknown reasons and all the sudden after Benghazi they are relieved? Now to complicate matters, suddenly General Petraeus resigns over an affair that the FBI knew about for six months prior to the election. And prior to him testifying before Congress about the facts we now know of the attack? And the same guy who foisted the YouTube story on Congress before all the facts were known? Suddenly (and suspiciously after the election) an affair comes to light in the media who's attention span would rival a goldfish and they ignore the obvious questions...why were so many high ranking flag officers and intelligence officers relieved in such close proximity (both geographically and time wise) to Benghazi?

Fact is, your government lied about the reasons five Americans died, tried to pin it on some middle aged dude who made a YouTube video and has continued to cover up the facts. And suddenly anyone without a seat when the music stops finds they are out in the cold, cut off from the executive protection.

And lastly, there are calls for voter fraud which will go unheard. Are you telling me that 100% of one section of a city voted all Obama? So there wasn't ONE GOP voter, a Libertarian, a Green Party, Mickey Mouse write in...nothing? And in another place the votes gathered equaled 140% of the registered voters? Something about the math isn't adding up here. And conservative polling inspectors were tossed out, unlawfully mind you, in several places and had to get police escorts to get back in...

This doesn't strike you as odd? It doesn't strike me as odd if it was a third world craphole with a tin pot dictator in charge. But this is America where our government is supposed to be held in account. Where our one true freedom of voting should be transparent and preserved at all costs. Where citizens are allowed to make demands for the truth from their government and not be lied to at every step. And we are supposed to just "get along?" All these acts ask, beg for the population to cry out for justice. To tell our government we aren't pleased. To put forth our discontent in a written manner as provided in our Constitution for the moment.

And you speak of fighting together? The same sorts of people that embraced the Arab Spring and the Libyan revolution which we KNEW NOTHING ABOUT that ended up having Al Qaeda elements that MURDERED FIVE AMERICAN CITIZENS AND VIOLATED THE SANCTITY OF OUR EMBASSY! And turns their back on Israel, the only true democracy in the Middle East, at every turn in order to kiss up to populations which violate the rights of their citizens, keep women oppressed and support terrorist groups which want nothing more than to kill us? I'm supposed to get along?

Why don't you try reading through this and apply it to today's world before trying this "get along" talk and informing me I've turned MY back on the Constitution...

These three documents, known collectively as the Charters of Freedom, have secured the rights of the American people for more than two and a quarter centuries and are considered instrumental to the founding and philosophy of the United States. Umm. How many states are needed to call a new consitutional convention. That way if we can do it we can have our cake and eat it to. We get to get rid of the idiots running our country and attempt to get our rights verified once again. In particular the 10th and 2nd Amendment.

Problem is if you get a consitutional convention you better know exactly what everyone is going to do with it... Or we chance in loosing it all.

You dont want a consitutional convention you want to get the media and mass public to realize the Consitution is as close to perfect as possible and we need to follow it... Not try find loop holes in it or ingore it.

So Grand, is your name on the petition? Yeah, I'm not much happy with the situation in our country either. Your claims are certainly correct but not exhausted. There are PLENTY more where that came from...AND goes back through the past presidents, both Republican and Democrat. Voter fraud is nothing new. But I would rather stand up than leave (and that's what I'll do). I have a spine. Sorry if I have offended anyone. That's not what I intended to do (although from some of the past posts I've read, it's an easy thing to do).

Oh, and I'm not much of a milk and cookies kind of person anyway.
