Had he been a desendant of the mayans instead of whatever i might have listened to him but meanwhile i must be off to slushyland in florida because new york wont let me have enough to throw up after the 57th time. If Alex Jones had his way, we’d all be running around in a total panic 24/7, glued to his show for the latest updates. He and his ilk will say WHATEVER IT TAKES to get your attention and keep you off-balance, panicked and distrustful of everyone but him. Granted there is always a mustard seed of truth in his messages, but he projects it to a non-logical conclusion almost every time. That’s because it’s not about telling the truth. The truth isn’t very sensational. It’s about generating ratings, and that’s done by shocking people.

This leads me to the second category of survivalists that I despise; the conspiracy theorist. These survivalists are incapable of taking raw data and processing it through to its logical conclusion. They will usually get bogged down or distracted by off-shoot details to the point that they can’t make appropriate decisions. When dealing with a problem, most people will sift the available data and see what direction the bulk of it points in order to draw their conclusions or choose their direction. While it’s good to have a curious mind, and not always take things at face value, we have to choose a logical direction/ conclusion from the information we have to work with. Instead of focusing on the obvious direction of the bulk of the leads, a conspiracy theorist will immediately assume there is some alternative explanation to the obvious and focus on that. They can be extremely counter productive in a group setting because instead of supporting the decisions made by the group, they weave doubt into them.

Wolf criers and conspiracy theorists work perfectly together. Wolf criers highlight unlikely theories/stories as being true, and conspiracy theorists lock onto those unlikely explanations and build on them to the point that everything is backwards and nothing gets done.

There is so much disinformation from keyboard commandos out there right now especially bashing military and law enforcement or trying to figure out what they are doing with this or that and starting rumors its not even funny. Most of these are started, run and pushed by criminals and those with anti .gov agendas. It's always amazed me when they start talking and even gang up on someone who actually works in the field how little the folks actually think for themsleves.
There are many things being pushed by unscrupulas vendors of items who know they can sell more stuff with bad headlines than with good. In fact if things were fine many would go under quickly. So many of these things can be thought thru and figured out with little efffort but unfortunatley preppers have become enamored with the .net and sensationalizing they claim to despise from the mainstream.
Even the what to do's and what to buys are spinning out of control with people right now. Some of the things I have heard recently makes my head spin. Make sure you try stuff for yourself, make sure you actually use what you have and dont spend a fortune without some education.
Be very careful out there and think clearly because the days of false prophets are abound. Ya know maybe this guy has something that leads him to believe it, dont wanna out right call him a liar, and heck who knows maybe he's right but dont sell the farm just yet based on the word of a man, especially a man you dont really KNOW. For that matter you dont KNOW me so do some research on the subjects and make educated and non-rushed choices.

For me, I've been shaped by hearing SOOO many times over the last 26 years that "this is it!" all that turned out to be utter BS.

Because something WILL happen at some point. If nothing does... well I think C.O.L.M.O.L.I.I.N. sums that part up. It may happen in my children's life times and what their Dad taught them, helped them to prep, etc may help them.

If not, I'll sit on my paid for porch as an old man with solar power running the ceiling fans, drinking some grape juice from the orchards, munching on some fresh apples from the orchards and realize that my life has been pretty good irregardless of whether the stuff hit the fan or not. . No I do not live my life for TSHTF. I live my life the way I want to live. Not on a mountain top six hundred miles via dogsled from the nearest walmart with an MG covering every approach, but in a safe place with "more than a few" precautions in place.

We need to be wary of dates and intel that comes up, even from false prophets cause hell, a stopped clock is right twice a day! However we shouldn't LIVE OUR LIFE based on Prophet X's newest (BS) prediction.

The little old lady that was freaking out about James Lloyd and Steve Quayle's "prediction" of half the country being nuked by July 4, 1996 REALLY BELIEVED THAT $@#%! And despite me telling her "ma'am, fourth of July will come and go and the only explosions will be fireworks", she believed those men. When I told her it would not come true she said they had both stated that "they would not make another prediction" if that one didn't come out true...... Of course that did NOT happen. :(

I guess my view on that sort of thing is that it HURTS THE MOVEMENT. Having seen so many folks run crazy over "dates" over the last couple decades and then BURN OUT afterwards, I realize the TRUE HARM this sort of BS causes. That's the part that makes me mad.

It's not a popular thing to tell survivalists/preppers ESPECIALLY NEW ONES, that the S is not going to HTF tomorrow. They all want to feel justified for their (new) actions and beliefs and are looking for something to validate that. This is why I've never been a popular speaker at conventions and that. I tell the truth and few want to have them back afterwards! I could sell out and pitch the "party line" to sell more stuff if it wasn't for that damn CONSCIENCE... But I guess not everyone has that or listens to their's....

As to the OP. I think Israel has put out so much psy-ops regarding their "going to" hit Iran in an attempt to get Iran to act pre-emptively that it's going to backfire for them. Seriously, how long have we been hearing this? What's the rationale for it actually happening THIS TIME???
