I am not a Conspiracy Theorist, but,,,
There are quite a few "Coincidences" involved here..
Right after reading the natural news link and some of the comments, I flipped to msnbc and there was a discussion on FLAGS that should've alerted authorities.
1. drop out of college program
2. online ammo purchase with expidited shipping - And I Quote "300 mags of ammunition"
3. Tactical gear purchases.
The conversation really bordered on "No One should be able to buy ________ without scrutiny from authorities"
I Ask, Why 6k .223 rounds? There was no need for even 1k, even if he planned on strutting through town for twenty minutes. IDK how many mags he actually had but.....
this does seem to be making a case for monitoring purchases of gear, fireworks and ammo. What perfect timing!
If this young man was wanting to do as much damage as possible, why long guns in a semi confined, congested space? the skatta is short lived, two hand consuming and ungainly, the AR requires two hands for a seemingly untrained handler, the 2 .40s with a vest full of mags woulda created a great deal of "Gangsta" chaos on their own.
I do not and cannot understand what was going on in this persons mind, nor can I fathom staging a situation like this for some sort of political gain or statement.
It does seem to be motivating the "Gun Ban Enthusiasts" and the "Monitor Your Every Move" crowd with alarming speed and ferocity.
I reference Rumpls comment in; https://www.survivalandpreparednessf...te-night-drive.
"The sad part of the story is the reality of how "wrong" it could have gone by doing what is lawfully allowed. That is truly sad that this dread is so justified by the so-called "sobriety checks..." "
That situation could've brought out the Cavalry and been "on the news" for no reason at all!
I expect the Colorado incident will be picked apart and speculated upon for many years to come.
