        According to Qalculate I am 25,417 days old (I'll be 70 in November, Yikes!). Been serious prepping since 1989.

          That's where we're at Tank. We're bugging in and thinking of a good bol. It's going to have to get really bad in our little town for us to think we'd be better off in the zombie wilderness trying to find a hidey hole. I saw a guy who has a sign on his door that says, "If you come through this door you will be killed". Maybe we should go ahead and put that on our door so the word gets around to the locals....chuckle....

              I have never ran and hid from anything in my life, and I'm not about to start now. let the rioters and looters come, they might not like what they find while looking for something else.

                60 - 65 over here, SWMBO 55 - 60. We've been prepping for about 3-1/2 years.
                When the woman at the door screeched, "Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms!" I, naturally, assumed it was a delivery....

                    Seriously Tank, if it gets that bad I won't be working so I will be home with Patriot Lady to protect what's ours. We're moving to a home in a small town(population 800)that's only 1/2 mile from my work so when the shtf I can be home quick. The farthest my work might take me from home during the day when I'm out in my terrirtory is 14 miles from home. I've got a BOB in my truck but am reworking my workbag(airforce backpack)so I'll have what I need for a short walk home. Like you we don't run and we don't scare easy. It would have to get pretty insane in that town for us to consider someplace else.

                    I tell people we're too old to run, too old to fight, but able to pull a trigger with one hand and not spill our coffee held in the other hand. Coffee is the most important food group there is!

                      I'm 55-60. The wife will not let me disclose her age for OPSEC (and my health). Prepping since 1994.

                                Interesting, I'm seeing the general average age group is between the ages of 40 -50 with a few alittle younger and a few alittle older.

                                A few more questions to try to get a general overview of the prepper attitude.

                                One question is what part of the country are you living in? The other qestion is what got you into the life stile of prepping? It seems to be alot of different levels of prepping, and the type of work people are doing.
