    Fine.

My last company's HR manager mentioned when the bill was signed that it would be cheaper to pay the fine, than to provide insurance. My new company owner and I were sitting on a trade floor in nashville, and he said exactly the same thing. Working like a charm for the socialist agenda. Ask 1960's england what happened to their doctors when the country started their National Healthcare package...It wasnt just the beatles that left england. To be fair my new owner said he would supplement peoples lack of healthcare, with more salary, but that is just so we can afford the "Tax".

Actually, the decision limiting the use of the Commerce Clause is a victory. For years the various government agencies has used the Commerce Clause to enforce all kinds of regulations on the American people.

[QUOTE](the courts) decisive limit to what the federal government may do with its commerce authority: it may regulate only actual economic activity, and then only if the activity has a substantial effect on interstate commerce. It may not regulate a person

Do keep in mind, folks, as unconstitutional as this "mandate" is, it does NOT go into effect until 2014 and even then in incremental amounts yearly. A LOT can happen in 1-1/2 years before that happens! Keep prepping.

While I dislike the Healthcare Act, the place to stop it is in the Congress.

yeah people are pretty fired up over this. the morons who think its good are just that...morons. I know because I've encountered them. however this limit on the commerce clause is quite possibly gigantic. this may restrict and constrant the fed.gov and even roll back a few things.

think about it. machine guns are banned because the registry is closed and the entire NFA act is based on.......... the commerce clause. this might be the hole in the dam. NRA/GOA lawsuit to repeal or weaken the NFA? maybe

big oil and coal sueing to stop the epa and the clean air act? bet on it.

I was terribly angry at first, and thought Roberts must be crazy. Now, that I have read more, I wonder if he isn't crazy like a fox.

A friend told me today his take.
Roberts went for it to rile up the voting public to get the left outta there this falls.
              I can see that reasoning.

Here is a look at where each of the 50 states stand on implementing President Barack Obama’s federal health care overhaul, which the Supreme Court ruled

Here are some facts about where states stand on implemenatation, some are thumbing their nose at the process and 27 of 50 are suing over Obamacare.

I am on the team that thinks Roberts is crazy like a fox. This definitely brings the situation home to us all, it will spark MANY discussions while boiling down the fat and getting to the meat of this mess.

We, as a group seem to feel about the same on this issue, I am sure their are those who are all for it,, but all in all it seems to be the imposition of IMPOSITIONS.
I am curious to see how this actually works out.
I am not sure what sort of quality our health care system will be able to provide when 30+ million newly insured start heading to the Dr. for preventive care!!!
I already expect an hour to two hour wait when I go see the Dr. a little less if I see the Nurse Practitioner.
Even Shaman and Medicine men are already overbooked!!
Do the right thing, because it is the right thing to do!

Let's assume your friend is right, and the progressives are removed from power in the senate and the WH while maintaining the House. Do you really think the "little R's have our best interest at heart. NOT A CHANCE! Especially now that they can tax us if we don't submit to their wishes and desires. They will abuse their power just as the commiecraps do.

Remember, they (and the lobbist's of their choosing) know what's best for us. Remember the brocoli argument? Well it's here!

You will eat your Brocoli and like it, or I'll have to TAX you.

I'm with you rice paddy daddy. When I think of the sacrifice that hundreds of thousands have made over the years to protect the liberties we hold dear, what happened today absolutely disgusts me! I am so glad we are preparing for all circumstances we can think of. I think we're in for a long, tough ride sometime in my lifetime!

If Roberts was true Constitutionalist, he would have struck down the whole thing because of the Commerce Clause, and stated so in his opinion, giving precedence. Now we are stuck with the rewritten "TAX". Most of the people that have gotten fired up over this being upheld will forget about it before the election, and when 2014 rolls around it will be too late.

I haven't followed his history until lately and have found that Roberts sides with liberals the majority of the time. Bush Jr. made a huge mistake with him. Kennedy was the one I was worried about but in his comments he was as fervent as the other dissentors that this whole thing should be thrown out.

Frankly I've never liked the idea of 9 people making a major decision for millions of people. I think each state's supremes should be voted in by the voters and the Feds shoved back into their constitutional box with all federal judges positions being abolished. The only way that will happen is if there is major unrest, violence in the street and practical anarchy. I think we're headed that way anyway.

This was written by a FB friend last year. I thought it worth posting to remind people of what could be done, if enough wake up to what's going on around them.

                          WHAT WOULD I DO? 07/2011.

I've been a registered republican all my voting life but I will tell youthe repubs are as corrupt as the democrats and nothing will change unless congress is almost completely cleaned out and replaced with constitutional conservatives. Like you said, Roberts gave congress unfettered carte blanche with our money. He has a record of voting with liberals more than conservatives. I'm not holding my breathe for this to turn out in a good way. We're increasing our prepping, praying for the best but expecting the worst. You can only practice check kiting for so long. Eventually the circle completes itself and you run out of pockets to shift the same money around in.

You can call it anything you want. An outhouse by any other name still stinks. The same for this new tax. A tax that is imposed for non compliance (essentially a non compliance tax) is not a tax at all, it's a penalty.

Now that the precedence has been set, the goober mint can tax you for any thing you do, or don't do that is contrary to the political elites wishes.
Pray for Obama, Psalms 109:8. Before you judge me, look it up.

I think my tin foil is too tight.
