That's a distraction, and honestly, I don't blame her one bit. Even if this was clearly an unrighteous shoot, I wouldn't blame her for copyrighting the boy's name just because of all the evil that can happen with people looking to make a quick buck.
I don't much care for her or her 'my baby was shot in the back of the head and somehow the bullet hole is in his chest' ex husband, but if they want to take legal precautions to protect the memory of their child, I can't fault them.

The Orlando Sentinel is the only news outlet that accurately quoted Jessie Jackson speaking Sunday at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Eatonville, Florida: "How do we go from a moment to a movement that creates fundamental change? If it's a moment, we go home, if it's a movement we go to war." Inflamatory? You bet!
It appears, as more information is released, that the shooting was an act of self defense. Witness statements, the injuries to Zimmerman, indications of drug use by Martin, and the fact that Martin was in Sanford that night instead of Miami where he lived because he had been suspended from school for "behavioral issues."
If Zimmerman is innocent under the law and he is not charged, the ensuing riots and bloodshed will be on the hands of Jackson, Sharpton, and other race baiters.

We live in the country, but I commute 5 days a week to work in Jacksonville, Florida. In the ghetto. I am prepared.

I believe it was Winston Churchill that said: "I am a peaceful man. But if war comes to my door, it will find me home."

Suspended THREE times for drugs, truancy and graffiti and 'caught carrying a burglary tool': New picture emerges of Trayvon Martin (and did he attack a bus driver too?)

The teen was suspended from school three times
He was on suspension when he was shot in February, after officials caught him with a 'marijuana pipe' and a baggie with drug residue
Trayvon was kicked out of school in October for graffiti after he was allegedly caught with a 'burglary tool' and a bag full of women's jewelry
Officials also suspended him once for skipping school and tardiness
Tearful parents say their son is now the victim of a smear campaign
New poll shows 73 percent of Americans think Zimmerman should be arrested

More is coming out about the "nice" young man.

The FDLE, DOJ, State Attorney and the Sanford police haven't made an arrest yet. If they had reasonable doubt Zimmerman would be in cuffs.

It has already started to take an anti-gun rhetoric...

Plenty of Florida Democrats are saying, "We told you so" and calling for repeal of the "stand your ground" law in the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting in Sanford...

Looks more and more like Zimmerman is innocent but he's going to have to practically go into the witness protection program to stay alive the way this thing is escalating. I think it will continue to escalate regardless of the truth.

Heard about that earlier today. What is it about some people that when riled up they go berserk and destroy whatever is around them? We live in a small city in Oklahoma that likely wouldn't see much of this type of activity but still can't wait to get our house on the market so we can get back to the country!

The students that were interviewed that we're part of the mob said "I was mad..." and "I wanted to make a statement."

What will happen when Zimmerman is not arrested or is arrested and found not guilty? I think things are sliding down the slippery slope.

This shooting is just giving some an excuse to do what they would do anyway...they just have a means to justify to themselves somehow now.....

im not saying to not keep an eye out, or lower any ones threat levels, but it is gonna make it easier for some to make a reason to do something ( riot,loot, revenge etc)
