Yep announced today on the morning radio here in San Antonio. Dallas has made a statement of their official police response criteria. If shoplifting offense is UNDER $50, the police will NOT respond. YEP and they announced it on every radio channel just so all the bad little punks now know, steal stuff under $50 so the police can't be called.

Democrats/Liberals of big cities NEVER seem to amaze me with their stupidity!!

But for the OP. Sometimes you get what you deserve and this will cause nothing but trouble. But I'd be willing to bet the local businesses will start clamoring for a change after they start getting hit in their wallets. You can only lose so much profit before it starts to sting and I'd be willing to bet more than a few will be on the phone with their local city council and threatening reelection campaign donations when they feel the pinch. Some times these things work themselves out naturally.

And just to crack a funny (at least funnier than a Justin Beiber joke) anyone want to go ammo shopping in Dallas? :D

every single bussiness in town should shut down till the person who made that rule if fired .
our sheriff once passed a "no chase" rule it didnt take long for the criminals to figure that out ,they all ran for even minor things
until they withdraw that rule .

Back to the subject at hand....they are wanting to get rid of the chase laws for cops here in GA. So now you can just do as you want and you wont get chased. Thank god for helicopters........and unmanned drones..(but thats in Texas right?) So what if it comes to where you can steal anything under $50 then take off from the cops, they cant chase you. What is this world coming to.

Personally, (and yall may hate me for this) I want public executions and hangings back. I just think it would scare idiots straight.......or on a lighter note, have public egg peggins.
