Meh, it's going okay. This tends to happen in political discussion threads and let's face it, preppers aren't exactly opinionated or anything lol

Like I asked, let's just keep it civil and watch the back and forth (not directed at anyone in particular) on what choices are being made by who. And the generalizations of "Ron Paul supporters," "Closet democrats," "soulless demons also known as liberals" et al need to be watched as well. I know several folks who voted for Obama the first time around who label themselves as conservatives. It happens so I don't hold it against them. That's what makes our country better than most in the fact we have a choice in our leadership. We have that choice to pick who we want representing our nation to the world. Sometimes it might not be the choice we liked, but we did have a choice.

So if someone wants to vote for Obama, I won't hold it against them. If they feel the current crop of candidates won't offer anything better and don't vote, I won't blame them. If folks pick the "lesser of two evils" when they vote, I'm perfectly fine with that. It's what freedom is all about.

So you guys are voting for Ron Paul.... great vote for him. It looks like he's going to win the Iowa caucasus. If he doesn't end up getting the nomination for the republican party you'll vote for obama...... great vote for him.

I started this thread to ask who you are voting for.

If you want to extoll the vitues of Ron Paul's foreign policy perhaps you should start a thread about that. ;)

          Okay folks...

I just deleted more than a few posts that went way off topic and not in the original intent of the thread. And this discussion was going downhill quickly. The OP asked a simple question: who are you voting for? Not which candidate was better than the other or which one is going to pick a fight with another country. Nothing along those lines was mentioned.

So simply put, just answer the question!

If you want to say "I'm voting for John Smith because I like his foreign policy and he has a good tax plan" leave it at that. If you persist in trying to:

A: Promote your candidate by senseless arguments
B: Get the thread way off topic by changing the subject
C: Post inflammatory remarks about others candidates

Your post will be deleted. Period.

This is a simple "who are you going to vote for" thread and it will stay that way. If someone wants to start another thread about which candidate will attack Iran first, by all means, start a NEW thread with that specifically as the title. Otherwise, the matter is dropped.

Ron Paul and if he is not on the ticket I am writing in Ron Paul. Why because he is only canidate that whose "Message" has not changed and has always voted according to the "Constitution" and whose foreign policy is the only one that does not make us the Aggressor. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY the only one that has admitted that the Federal Reserve Bank and the IRS big problems.

I really liked Herman Cain until the SHTF for him.... I like Ron Paul's views on the fed and economy, But I'm leaning towards Rick Santorum right now.

One thing we have to keep in mind is the DemoRats smear machine... I think they are going to be Super Vicious this year. We have to have a candidate who can bear up to all the crap and lies they will sling.

Also, bear in mind that if Obama is re-elected, he'll have 4 more years to pick federal judges, who will be around causing grief long after Obummer's gone.

I will be voting against Obama. I don't think our country could survive another term of him.
I have also heard that someone, I think it was Nancy or Hillary is pushing for no term limits on POTUS.
Pray for Obama, Psalms 109:8. Before you judge me, look it up.

I think my tin foil is too tight.

Maybe Obama can just issue an executive order, to set aside the election results, if he loses.... (Oh crap, I hope his staff doesn't read this forum!)

My vote? Of the present field, I'd like to see Santorum face Obummer. But I'm afraid that Romney will be the GOP candidate and I'd rather see him in the office rather than another four years of The Great One.

Politics IMHO is just a bunch of Bravo Sierra these days. Cain't tell a Republicat from a Demican. Im tired of settling for what I think is the lesser of 2 evils. I've voted every year I could, without the help of ACORN or anybody. Think I'll just sit this one out.........

Hehe... Sorry, couldn't help it... I'm not really voting for him. How could I? I see Jerome Corsi give a demo of his birth certificate... Obvious forgery. Not even debatable.

My vote is for Ron Paul Ron Paul Ron Paul Ron Paul and I cannot vote for another (that would be voting against my conscience). I will vote for him regardless if he wins the nomination and I suspect that many of his supporters will as well. What does that tell you?

                                I agree with Admin

I will vote for anyone but Obama. I see too many of the people on the forums who think with blinders on. If we count on just the votes of the conservative far right then we are going to lose and lose big. The bulk of people in this country are moderates. The extreme left and right make up less than 20 percent of the population. A good 80 percent of the people would call themselves moderates. We must be able to attract that middle ground in order to win. The media is going to try and kill any and all of the Republican candidates to push for Obama. If we nominate Mitt then I am going to MITT. thank you very much. A lot will depend on who he brings with him on the ticket. I would expect him to try and get someone like Marco Rubio from Florida to be on the ticket. It is going to be a very tough election and no one is a slam dunk my friends. Right now if the election were held Obama would win.

Don't be surprised if Obama gives in to pressure to put Hillary on the ticket with him to get Bill to campaign for him. His ego is the only thing that stands in his way.
