Let's be clear on the wording of posts here- some have made it out like we- i.e, THIS FORUM, destroyed a link to this story. That has not been the case at least on my end.

Paranoid people get some really stupid ideas folks, I've seen it happened for 25-26 years. THIS FORUM, i.e, S and P did not destroy a link to this 'story' -if it even IS a real story.

Hope that makes it clear.

Now to the OP-
I don't personally know WTH the real story is. I can tell you that I've seen literally over a hundred "scares" of this or similar nature over the last 25-26 years. 99% of them have turned out to be BS. Even from "eyewitnesses" that "saw it with my own eyes."

Let's see-

The "one hundred thousand UN troops out at Camp Blanding (N. FL guard training site). I just happened to have a good friend that worked there every weekend. His reply- "one hundred thousand? AT BLANDING? Where the hell they hiding them?" Paranoid conspiracy answer- "UNDER GROUND". (Remember it's FLORIDA, you dig 6' down pretty much anywhere in the state and your under water!!"

And then their was that time that "the feds rounded up 100 patriots at a rally in Gainesville. A couple resisted and they were shot!" LMAO, that was a good one cause I was actually there at that rally! A guy told me that story at a gunshow. I said "Man I must have been lucky cause I was there the whole time, never got shot and must have missed the "round up."

Course everything came to an end July 4th 1996 when Steve Quayle and James Lloyd's prophecy of "half the country being nuked by July 4th" came true ROTFLMAO!

In short, let's find out more about this before we go "to the mattresses" here folks.

According to Oathkeepers, they've pulled this story because the person who told them got squirrely. No, that's not a jab at a certain website, so keep it down in the back row! :D

There are more than a few people both within the LDS and without, who say this is a story which keeps coming up every few years.

We should keep focused on important stories like the aliens at Roswell and the faked moon landings. Heh. Or at least wait for some confirmation, you know, video or a report from a third party.

Guys and gals, unless you've experienced it, you'll never realize how often people hear a bit or a piece of a story and then run with it, filling in the rest as they go. And/or they don't hear or remember a story worth a crap yet repeat it like it's Gospel.

Happens more than you realize.
