I find shopping ANY DAY disgusting, but add the insult of "Black Friday" to it and you are asking for trouble. What I have been hearing for several years now, I'm glad that I am either working or at my home that day (and most days until the Holidays are over).
Since I don't have a job right now, I'm working on "re-purposing" some things around the house. Our kids have used a ton of back packs that still have a lot of life left in them. Not to mention all the lent that I gathered (thanks to you all for that tip), among many other items. I can make additional "BOB's" for everyone to use.

Don't get me wrong, we are doing fine (financially) but, if I'm not helping to provide I don't want to spend money I haven't earned. So Until I obtain a new Career, I'll adapt and overcome. :-)

It's a sad senerio that is deeds supposed to be done in the name of CHRIST!
True. Local Walmart was selling this years "have to have" Sadly a women with HER KIDS in tow wouldn't wait her turn to get to the item. Pulled out a pepper spray and sprayed the customers. While they fled she ran up grabbed several of the items and ran to the front of the store. Before security/ management realized what had happened she had checked out and left the store. They are hoping to use credit card records to locate her. I guess Christmas brings out the worse in some as well as the STUPIDITY as well. Seems she didn't want to add misdomener shop lifting to Multiple Felony assault.

I believe LD3 has talked about this before that the rambo types wont make it. Because here in America there are what like 6million firearms out there. Then you add in less than lethal and other weapon types like edged and the numbers are almost as big as the debt! If wallie world can go mad max over wants imagine what it will be when needs hit. So much for the "i'll grab what I need at the last minute plan" huh. This is also why you must train and learn and experience. I put the stabbing video up so you would know how much distance is needed and how fast it can happen and how little effort/tool it takes. Was there any of that knowledge used during this black friday crowd? Nope and they got sprayed and disabled.
Even a SOCOM operator can get whacked by a kids first shot out of a junk gun on an "any given Sunday" senario. Gotta learn how to shoot with other shooting around you, gotta learn hand to hand, gotta practice and train and sweat and bleed because wether you know it or not the criminals are, even in the prison. The neighbor security officer father who trains MMA, runs daily and shoots IDPA will become your worst nightmare when he gets hungry if all you are doing is prepping and not building skills.

Matt, there are over 200 million guns in private hands in the US, and 4.5 million are added every year.
