Trying to pack everything up for my move from Germany. You don't realize how much crapola you tend to collect until you have to move it a few times.

I was going to help my parents clean up their shed, but one of their cats, of ten years, died this morning. Vet felt like he had cancer. My mom and dad were not in the mood to work on the shed, so I had time to hit the local gun show. While there I found a barely used Rem. 870 express super mag 12g with a 20" rifled barrel.

Yesterday I was able to pick up 100# white rice, 200# whole corn, 50# popcorn, and 10 buckets/lids from Firehouse Subs store. Have O2 absorbers and mylar so plan on packing tomorrow.

Guns and gear are cool, but bandages stop the bleeding!

I'm dehydrating 5# green beans, 5# corn and 5# peas! Love that dehydrator.

Ten buckets packed...waiting for O2 absorbers to suck in the mylar before putting the lids on.

We rotated our stored gasoline--the hubby trained all of us so we know how to do it w/o blowing ourselves up, lol. We also cleaned out our garage. Getting organized is a teotwawki must!

Plan to restock the kitchen pantry with items from our survival storage which is kept in the basement. After that, I'll make a run out to purchase the rotated items plus extras to restock the survival storage. Also plan on using up liquid gas, by putting it into the vehicles. We have let them run low on purpose for this. Afterwards, I'll be replacing all the used gas with fresh gas. That's it for this weekend.

More work on cleaning up the backyard and trying to get the chicken pens safe from the raccoon.

Becky, please share what you're doing to keep the raccoons out.

I purchased some more supplies for long term storage. I almost have enough for another 10 bucket batch. Worked on a couple of sewing projects, leg gaiters and ghillie suit. I also got off my butt, it's only been sitting in the parts bucket for a year now, and bent an HK clone receiver (welding next weekend). I still have one weekend day left so maybe a little more sewing.
