Guys a few weeks ago I took a huge step. 32 years ago, I fell out of a treestand that had a rotted support beam. Ever since if I got more than 3 or 4 rungs up a ladder I got dizzy and started panicking. I decided this was stupid and I had to get over it. I asked a friend who instructs outdoor classes if he taught rappelling as I was deathly afraid of heights and wanted to get over it. We met in the Red River Gorge today and after setting up and a safety brieifing I stepped off a 50 foot cliff. I am still jacked up and haven't really been able to sleep. The most amazing part is my daughter was with me and she got to witness it. I wanted to teach her that no matter what the challenge, if you want it bad enough you can do it. Not only did I do it once, but 3 times. The video is by no means graceful and there isn't much technique, but the point is really that I did it. I kicked my biggest fear in the nuts.......
So what is holding you back from conquering something that has been holding you back?
