Shoot the press is embeded, you cant do nothing, even have a platoon meeting without them fools, you gotta throw them outta the building just to speak with your troops about day to day issues that dont need reporting.
Ok the Army is moving, last I heard they were on the side of Americans. My God man, these are part timers, friggen shoe salesmen and even folks on this website right now. They are doing their jobs, unless someone has something tangible the tinfoilhats need to get off them. If it wasnt for them tinfoils wouldnt be on any computer and folks would be speakin Chinese bout now and not on no HAMs neither! Be eatin rice alright but not outta mylar.
Didnt bust my behind, lose some of my hearing, get busted up, watch my men die, leave my family for extended periods, get friggen shot at and exploded on, recieve Dear John Letters for 20 to become the "badguy boogie man" for a bunch of fraidy cats!
Aw, come on, Matt...tell me what you really think!! ;-) Well said.

I got to agree with Matt on this one.

Just because you see stuff on train cars does not mean anything. The National Guard is wrapping up AT's before school starts, we have troops moving because of the final phases of BRAC being done, troop movements because of rotation with the war(s) and a host of other issues.

Those vehicle are Strykers and I've seen a large number of them up and down I-70 because they are moving a whole Brigade to Ft. Riley.

Besides, 20,000 troops might be able to contain a smaller metro area, but no where near more than one city.

I saw a convoy go through town last wednesday, looked like normal movement to me, all empty hummer types. We get a convoy about every four to six months through central Oregon, no big deal.
