its amazing how even a simple tropical storm can cause massive flooding. in the 90's TS Alison (i think i get my storms mixed up) flooded most of Houston. The water receded pretty fast but if we had back to back storms it would have been trouble.
oh yeah, storms this time of year tend to be soakers!
I remember one during church camp, hit right at the border between TX and LA, made rain on us for 4 days. Everyone was stinking of mildew and we had a moccasin in the swimmin' pool. It was great!
