  • 1 year forum anniversary and a contest

We are fast approaching the 1 year mark on the forum- July 4, 2011.

In approach thereof, we would like to offer a contest-

Tell on a short video how the forum has helped you or what you like about the forum and mention clearly the web address of the forums- easiest one to remember is

in the video. Post it as a short video (doesn't have to be any longer than :30 seconds) on Youtube. On the forum anniversary we'll pick a winner and the winner will receive an M3 medical kit. Make sure "Survival and Preparedness" is in the title or tags somewhere in the video description

courtesy of the site sponsor JRH Enterprises.

Open to everyone including mods and admins other than myself. No, my Grandma and dogs won't have a chance to win this contest ;)

Free medical kit just for plugging the site and telling folks how it's helped you.

Post a link to the video in this thread after you post it to Youtube.

Good luck! Someone's gonna win a nice med kit!

Alright, couple more days for this anniversary contest. Remember they need to be posted PUBLICLY on youtube. That way the forum gets some exposure for the contest as well- a win/win situation.

Their is pine trees in Idaho.... Just probably not southern yellow pine or slash pine.

BTW, did anyone notice it took about 3.4 seconds for someone to think they "caught me" in a weapons faux pas? If you aren't familiar with that system or didn't watch the muzzle till the last 2 seconds, you might have thought I did have the muzzle "in the ground." Course I thought the raised knee with the mag catching on it made it obvious that the muzzle was not on the ground (like why would I have my knee up?) but I'm more used to that system and regularly hold like that if I'm tired or just being lazy. I wasn't tired, just lazy. LOL Figured if the muzzle went any where near the remote general direction of the dog someone would freak about that, so it was better to have it facing straight down. If you watch closely in literally the last 2-3 seconds the dog moves and you can see the muzzle is NOT on the ground. An AK isn't THAT long, LOL.

I could tell the weapon was behind the dog....

I only do private videos for the members of S & P....so Matt wins by default!!
