What Type Of TEOTWAWKI Do You Expect?

Ok everyone, What type SHTF scenario do you envision?

1. Slow slide of our economy into an Argentenian type society.

2. Our commrade Obama turning this into a communist country and taking away our rights.

3. One of the many countries that hates us using an EMP device on us sending our society back to the 1800's.

4. Something else.

I think #2 is already going on but that's just me.:mad:

So do you just prepare for #3 and that covers everything else?

Ok everyone, What type SHTF scenario do you envision

I pray for none and hope I completly wasted my time!
However I am thinking economic or governmental collapse as a possiblity, EMP, Attack on food/water sources which is already under attack from domestic haters constantly, fuel shutoff from opec & chavez etc along with increased attacks, complete attack from outside source such as china and the next war will be on our soil (something we have yet to experience in our lives), socialism increasing to hard line levels, weather events, sleeper cells & suicide bombers and the utter chaos it will cause especially if soft targets of value like multiple schools are taken out, cyber attacks and the shutdowns that can be created remotely, disruptions in commo such as cells & the net, radiation & fallout from the winds, volcanoes and the winds, earthquakes and last but not least general attacks from thugs in our society.
Some I have already encountered here and abroad.
I know I'm a whole bucket of sunshine right, aww, who am I kiddin, even the girl on e-harmony freaks me out and strikes me as a "fatal attraction" type killer! So I prep for that by staying married LOL

I am more concerned about a general need for the supplies and skills in a time of hardship. I don't tell myself that there is any one reason why I should be prepared, I just do my best to prepare for all scenarios.

I am thinking #1, but right now I am scared #2 is in the process also.

But the end I can imagine is China saying ENOUGH!! #1 happens, then they come to claim LAND to settle their debt, and there will be A LOT of bloodshed I think (that is, if Hussein hasn't taken our guns by then)...

When our group meets that is always the question that is talked about....again. Essentially re-hash previous conversations with new info added in that we hear/read about....like N. Korea being EMP capable. Our plan is two fold. We assume that the economic meltdown is on its way already, but we have our fingers on the pulse of key indicators etc., and when things get bad we bugout. With that said, we are always planning for the worst case (to us) EMP situation. Our retreat is only 90 miles away, but hoofing it with 7 kids and 12 adults loaded to the gills and trying to do it tactically with chaos reigning down on us each step of the way is pretty daunting to say the least. But if you plan, and you prep then there is nothing to worry about. but like you said...plan for no 3 and you have your bases covered.

When it comes to preparedness we should prepare for all unforeseen events and an economic collapse. The debt America carries right now is one of the most harmful things for our economy. Terrorist can inflict a devastating blow to our economy with a dirty bomb or massive event and these wars are bleeding us dry as well. By preparing your food, water ammo, accessories and skills you get prepared for everything.

I hear ya. I'm near the Grand Rapids area which is ~2 hours distance from both Chicago and Detroit! It may take a few days but the zombie hoards will hit me.

All of those are possible scenarios, but I am also throwing in the possibility of super solar storms, which would have the same effect as an EMP bomb, a possible nuclear explosion caused by terrorists, or one of our enemies like N. Korea, Iran, China, etc., and also the possibility of catastrophic earthquakes and tsunamis. Particularly along the New Madrid fault which runs along the Mississippi river. If that thing ever goes, there's a good possibility that all of Louisiana where I currently reside, will be under water. I've incorporated all of those possibilities into my BOL/shelter design. I just hope I can get it built before the SHTF!

I have been studying New World Order, New World Currency, all the conspiracy theories, Martial Law......ect, ect. One thing that really freaks me out is the painting at the Denver Airport! WTH is up with that? I don't want to get into to the stuff here, there are other forums for that stuff. But google it, if you don't know what I'm talikng about.
